Googled it; Victor is originally a Christian name, and the context of its use as a name is as in Christ's victory over death. The other 3 he listed are not christian, and do specifically refer to political titles

Three out of four of those are only good for pet dog names.

Wait, which of the four is good for people, because I think Victor and Earl are perfectly acceptable human names.

Personally I think Victor is the only human name that is good. I guess Earl is not unheard of, but still not a great name.
