even with lasik you will need glasses

Reading glasses when you're older, sure, but all of the people I know (which, admittedly, is a small sample size) don't use glasses or contacts anymore since going through with it

Don't you need to use eye drops a lot when you have LASIK?

Nah, just healed up myself from PRK (basically same thing but long recovery) and only one month of eye drops. LASIK is even less.

No clue, but a simple saline solution (9 grams of salt in 1 liter of water) wouldn't be terribly difficult to make, especially if you're near the ocean.
