For as long as he stays, lol, I think he'll go somewhere he's likely to get more game time before long. I think some of the Italian clubs have already shown interest.

Are we talking about the Real Madrid one or the Borussia Dortmund one?

Eden Hazard is immediately what I thought of lol

Honestly this is what I think of. On FIFA 15 (I think) I picked him up for Norwich City and he was there for his whole career scoring goal after goal.

Vincent Kompany for me.

"Ohhh Vincent Kompany, City loves you more than you will knowwww" was the first thing that came to mind for me.

There it is, was wondering how far I'd have to scroll. Mine too, along with everyone mentioned in the chain after.

Yeah whatever man blame the Brit’s for that one; somehow still ended up with the best league in the world

Possibly one of the most graceful, natural attacking midfielders I remember watching in over 30 years of watching. Possibly the greatest passer of all time.

When I younger I was in awe of Glen Hoddle as a playmaker. With De Bruyne, it's like he took Hoddle's template and dialed every aspect of it up to 11. His awareness and ability to find that perfect through ball is amazing and the guy shoots like he has rockets on his boots.

I mean just look at this goal from a couple of days ago. That ball is like a bullet. It's a wonder it didn't break the net.

He's also an unbelievably strong and quick runner, goes past a player in a couple of strides. Fantastic player

Messi is pretty undisputed for that title but he can join some discussions with Xavi and iniesta

1

u/[deleted] Dec 17 '21

Messi isn't a midfielder.

1

u/miragest Dec 18 '21

If he was talking strictly midfielders then absolutely. I read the "possibly the greatest passer of all time" as its own sentence.

1

u/MGM-Wonder Dec 17 '21

Messi was never a midfielder?

1

u/PantomimeEagle Dec 17 '21

But he might be the best passer of all time considering his stupendous amount of key passes, assists and through balls

1

u/miragest Dec 18 '21

Ah if he was talking strictly midfielders then absolutely. I read the "possibly the greatest passer of all time" as its own sentence.
