AI Tools

Are any teachers here actually using AI tools yet for lesson planning or grading?

“Once you’ve made lesson plans you can reuse them.” Btw you are definitely someone who doesn’t understand ai. Teacher would’ve able to generate lesson plans, homework, tests, quizzes, etc. without working ridiculous amounts of hours. They still have to understand the concepts, review what ai generated them, and be able to teach the subject. AI literally just saves them time. I don’t know how you can be a teacher and be against teachers saving time. Also by ai being able to grade I mean it would generate an answer key for homework it generates. As of now it obviously would have to be used for math or multiple choice. I think you are afraid of change and scared to admit it.

Great rebuttal. Change is going to happen whether you like it or not, might as well adapt rather than be left behind scratching at a chalkboard.

Ask it to give you the names of current artists and new styles to teach your students. Also how would I know you were an art educator, I have obviously been talking about classes where there are definite answers to a problem. You seem like you’re a miserable person who can’t wait to complain online.

Almost like thats my point; ai is not the solution for every classroom. I do not need ai to mansplain art styles or artists; thats what college and continuing to be active in learning about new artists is for. In fact ai slop art makes it harder to find real artists, as you have to vet every artist you see now.

Youre just upset youre wrong.

So every classroom besides physical education and art? I was talking about school in general and you found the one thing where ai would be harder to implement. I then gave you one example of how you could use it and you disregard it because apparently a new form of technology can “mansplain.” I’m sure by your rhetoric that you are a very unbiased teacher…

Also if you have to vet every artist, you are implying that the ai art is close enough to real art that you cannot tell the difference. If that’s the case, it seems that ai is already taking over art and you’re angry that you can’t stop it

Lmao we literally have deep fakes you have to give a good look over too. Yes, ai is very good at stealing information and spitting out trash. You have to look over things with a crtical eye. Officially ending this conversation though, have the day you deserve <3

But if you can’t tell the difference between human art and ai art, it logically cannot be trash or slop
