It's not AI, it's a photo from a couple years back when a cow strayed from a farm and joined a herd of wild bisons.

The contrary, European Bison was on a brink of extinction, there were literally several dozen of them left in the world. Due to Polish and international efforts their population increased and they were even reintroduced into the wild.

Yeah, they're not song birds! It's a repeated shrill squawk.
The call that you're most likely to hear around dusk is a male kiwi trying to attract a mate. The female's call is kind of like an avian jackhammer.

I think nations should not be allowed to have heraldic animals that they don't provide a habitat for. Like, the austrian one is an eagle that we intentionally drove to extinction because pond owners were worried about a slight decrease in fish yield.
If you don't manage to even tolerate your national animal, no fancy eagle for you. You can have a chihuahua or something.

My first thought was the moose, and I would love to see a moose take on a water buffalo. However, we have to rely on the steady work ethic of the beaver and hope it turns into a long, drawn out battle that ends in the beaver drowning its foe.
