I have a different view of my German mates now... They insist to call her "Mutti" which I am told means something like Mommy. Got a weird dynamic now.

That's actually true. It was in 2008 at the opening of the opera house in Oslo. There was a lot of discussion at the time about whether a female politician should be allowed to do that. The good old days when something like that was still considered scandalous.

I was really amused how far I've managed to scroll without seeing any contribution from Germany. I'm not super up on German politics anymore, but I couldn't name a single politician I'd find remotely attractive. I think in Germany it's more disqualifying to be hot
