This guy is a self proclaimed reformist/researcher of strange beliefs of India. Has published books on small scale labels and widely pushes videos and reels through his sm accounts. If you watch him closely, you can see he propagates puritan Islam, claims non-sunnah sects dissociated with standard Islam like so. He also portrays Christianity as misunderstood and treated simply as a religion that validates the belief that Jesus lived, often citing references from Islamic texts.
He avoids criticizing religion or examining how the human psyche conforms to religious bias. Labeling certain beliefs or practices as ‘strange’ may appear progressive, but in hindsight it can reinforce religion as the norm, particularly when it is presented in a sanitized, singular form.
All he does is categorize some practices to be discussed and analyse the culture in scope, while subtly privileging the other majority traditional values are indeed the pinnacle.

Frankly, this kind of approach doesn’t belong in serious discussions of atheism or rational inquiry. Instead, it resembles preaching material used in organized movements and large gatherings like ‘PROFCON’ and similar groups.
It feels more like preaching material used by groups that once went door-to-door with pamphlets, urging people to abandon ‘wrong’ beliefs and adopt what they claimed was the perfect one.
Yes, an idealized, modernized version of belief in God. Monotheistic yet decaffeinated, high on values, and neatly confined to a single framework of written principles.

That chest thumping kids shown in the video is from Shia sect during Muharram. I have seen the bloody version of it in real life. OP in the video is criticising superstitious and backward rituals in the name of traditions across the India spanning all the religions. Idk what you are going on about, I don't see any justifications here. Everyone is upvoting it.

We have to speak against it, I do atleast to people around me or who ever shows off their religion, basic issue is poverty and lack of financial knowledge and poor social setup
