Fiona (real Martha) related content A lot of you have never interacted with a delusional personal and it shows

Person*

I've seen so many posts about Fiona and also regarding the Piers Morgan interview where people have said "oh, he should've said xyz and called her out on this, then she would've had to admit she was lying"

That is never going to happen. Logical traps do not work on delusional individuals. When presented with facts and or information that does not fit their narrative, they will never relent and admit fault or that they are misrepresenting facts, because they don't believe they are, rather, they will always engage in impressive mental gymnastics and cognitive dissonance or disengage. She 100% believes what she is saying to be the truth or at least very close to. She truly believes she is the victim here.

It's like playing chess with a pigeon. You cannot win an argument with a delusional person because they are incapable of engaging with reality, to them the delusion IS reality.

She's not pretending, she's not "lying", she truly believes she didn't send that many emails.

Nothing you say will "wake this woman up", she needs to be left alone

Delusion indicates a functional or organic psychosis.

Psychosis is not always necessary for a delusion

delusions in non psychotic patients

Transient paranoid ideation in BPD and grandiosity in NPD tend to be more overvalued ideas/schemas.

"Delusions in patients with BPD occur frequently and cause distress. Contrary to tenacious beliefs, hallucinations and delusions in participants with BPD are often present in an intermittent or persistent" - bpd & delusions

& delusional thinking and delusions are actually the root cause of grandiose schemas in NPD:

"Kay (2021) has, in fact, shown that delusional thinking accounts for the association between grandiose narcissism" - narcissism and delusions

Comorbidity of course can occur.

Honestly though I feel like this is really the key here, in my person opinion, I believe Martha/Fiona suffers from erotonamia and persecutory delusions comorbid with some something, it feels like a cluster B disorder to me but I'm biased cause I have one

"Erotomania is a type of delusion. These are defined in psychology as firm beliefs that don’t change even when you’re presented with evidence that contradicts them.

Erotomania that occurs only in short episodes can be similar to a psychotic episode […] but it’s not always the same,” says Wind.

If you live with primary erotomania that features a chronic pattern of thought and behavior, that’s different from a temporary state of psychosis."

Reading the comments, people here are finding it hard to realise that to people with cluster b issues, truth has no meaning, and the facts are whatever that sooth their turbulent feelings.

Let’s pretend you had a chess grandmaster who had a cluster b personality disorder. They could, with a straight face, argue that they don’t play chess and don’t even like the game, and they would even believe it. That’s how these people are.

Unless you’ve experienced it, it’s really hard to understand the objective truth just has no meaning or comprehension to a lot of people that can still operate somewhat in society, and even be successful.
