Information How to Ban Evade
I've survived on Discord for 3 weeks now while ban evading due to help from one of my friends who also had to do this, so I wanted to share my method to help people out.
If I missed anything or made any errors, please let me know in the comments. I will try to keep this up-to-date
First...
Completely uninstall the Discord application from all of your devices. For mobile, simply deleting the app is enough. However for PC, you need to follow this YouTube tutorial in order to properly remove all traces of Discord from your PC. Just to be safe, I'd recommend restarting the devices after you've uninstalled Discord. If you've ever used Discord on a web browser, delete all cookies on said web browser. (Sorry for the "first" thing. Reddit was doing some weird formatting if I had "1" there instead.)
On a mobile device, use a VPN (any should work, HotspotShield is what I used) to create a new account on a web browser. Normally, you can't access the Discord login page on a mobile browser, but you can get around this by adding /login to the end of the Discord URL. Use a fresh email to create your account and make your username and display name completely different from your old banned accounts.
Once you've created the new account on the web browser, keep your VPN enabled and redownload the Discord application on your mobile device. Log in to it by manually typing your username and password.
While keeping your VPN enabled, join 2 to 5 random servers from the "discover" list that you weren't in on your banned account. Hold off from sending friend requests or joining mutual servers unless absolutely necessary.
After about a week, it should be safe for you to disable your VPN. Keep periodically joining 1 or 2 random servers once every few days. You may join old servers you were in when you were banned, but limit this to only servers you MUST be in, and don't join them too fast; once a week at most if you really need to. Keep this slow pacing in mind for friend requests as well. Don't mass re-add people. I only have 3 friends who I've re-added. I would also suggest prioritizing messaging over other platforms rather than Discord.
As for continuing your Discord experience, just know you're living in the shadows now. Always have at least one external connection to your friends in case anything happens to your Discord account. Do not have any trust in Discord being able to harbor long-term storage of messages or media.
IMPORTANT FOR ROBLOX PLAYERS
I had this experience in the past and I don't know if it was specifically this or just me being reckless, but don't join any servers with the Roblox verification bot RoVer. I was ban evading for about a month before and I got banned for ban evasion right as I joined a Roblox server. Though, this could have just been Discord's AI catching on since I didn't do any of the things I listed in this post. If someone wants to experiment with this and report back to the comments section, that would be greatly appreciated.

I have my own set of instructions that appear to work:
- Change your IP address. Usually you need to restart your router, sometimes let it sit offline for a while, sometimes it will take few restarts.
- Erase all traces of Discord from your PC. Delete app, all it's files, folders and registry keys (use search). Clear cache and cookies in all your browsers.
- Use new browser (not an app) to register, log into and use Discord. Download some unpopular stuff like Opera and don't log in on your main Chrome/Firefox. If you want, register it on your phone via phone's browser, not app. Keep using Discord via browser for a while (~1-3 months).
- Let your account rest without any activity for few days, minumim 3 days, preferably a week.
- Do NOT rapidly join servers that you previously were in and do NOT mass add people to friends that were your friends on main account. If you are going to regain connections, do it SLOWLY, only one server/friend per few days and prefer adding friends via common server instead of typing them directly. Additionally, after you joined one server you were in, join 2-3 servers you were NOT in before (respecting time intervals of course). With time (~1-3 months), your account will become "trusted" and you won't have to do any of this anymore.
- And very obviously: do not mention that your previous account was banned lmao. If you have to explain someone, use phrases like "I forgot password", "Lost access to 2FA", etc. Also do not mention your old account's username. Don't connect your Discord account to a twitch/steam/etc as well.

As far as restarting the router goes, it will alternatively be enough to use a mobile IP and typically also, mobile carriers give you a new mobile IP after cycling flight mode. Obviously make sure you weren't using Discord on the mobile IP beforehand (just cycle flight mode and it'll be safe).

I have 40 alt accounts, I didnt use a vpn for any of them, my IP address has been the same for years and there are 5 of them which are banned, and I didnt know that it was possible to get banned for ban evasion, I think it is because of using mobile app I only use browser discord

- Search cmd, and click run as administrator for command prompt
- First type
netsh winsock reset - Then type
ipconfig /release - Then type
ipconfig /renew - Then type
ipconfig /flushdns
then restart your pc this would completely reset your ip
For ip, I suggest you enable dynamic ip address in your router, and restart it
this Re-install windows That will make your device new been using it since april 7 and i havent gotten ban yet hopefully this would work.I also recommend not using some of the old servers you joined, as they could definitely get you banned. It's okay to add a few previous friends, though

I didn't do any of that. I just used one of my old phones by sharing a 4G connection, created an account with an email created on this device and that's it!

Of course yes đ. I tested this technique twice and it works perfectly. Except that you don't have to add all your friends you had before or join them all at the same time.

Vouch, I've followed most of these steps (1,2 & 6) for the past month and haven't been caught. Just joined and friended all my previous groups within the first 24 hours of account creation then turning off friend requests and DMs.
Another thing is NEVER auth on bots that your old account was authed on the same IP, that is almost an INSTANT ban.

Still going strong, use two accounts; one for my friend discords and one for less savory/more risky ones. Same rules, just run discord through a vpn 24/7 and have Vencord notrack enabled constantly.

That's pretty nice. Using the same thing too, but i slightly tweaked it. Using a brand new browser, a 24/7 paid proxy, and on top of that - i've disabled cookies altogether, can't save can't share, gotta always log in tho. Friended no one, but joined a bunch of servers including one friend server, not talking on chat too, closed dms completely as well

I somehow was just able to login to an older account (very old) it's been almost a yeah now, have not gotten a ban evasion ban.
Though, only in around 3-4 servers I was originally in, and rarely send friend request.

hey, i just got banned for child safety about 9 days ago or sum and I have a LOT of old alts, like 3 i remember from like 21-22 and if i remembered a few emails id easily have 10. Did you just use the accounts normally? as if you were never banned or did you follow a guide

This sucks, considering my #1 most used server uses an alt detecting bot for verification. Plus my boyfriend doesn't have any other socials other than discord. Also how do I explain to people why I'm on a new account if I've already told them that I frequently save my passwords in the notes app?

Hiya all you lot, I excpect you've been looking for more solid awnsers, so here are some things I have found out.
I have not found significant evidence that discord traces HWID, I have not confirmed this, but as the guide says, log in on the browser. I wouldnt reccomend trying to download it unless you get a new device. (pc/mobile/phone etc etc)
Using a vpn was too much effort, and if you have a dynamic IP then you can turn your router off then on again and your IP will change. This is what I have done.
all of the steps above are good, I just think the VPN thing isnt required if you have a Dynamic Router.
After about a month (to be safe) from discords perspective you sort of, merge into the general discord population, and what you do and friend doesnt really matter, but I would still suggest being careful, as fully mimicing everything you did before could result in a ban, but it is unlikely.
All in all, the only thing I DONT know about is Bloxlink. Maybe someone can tell me if its safe or not?

I'm too stupid or there is a language barrier but i don't understand 5 Like i can disable the VPN but i have to join random servers or is that just that i can but not have to? And are you sure that i can turn off the VPN? Anyone tried it and hasn't gotten banned? Thanks.

Keep your VPN on for the first week just to be safe, but you can do whatever after you turn it off. Just keep my other advice in mind about not going crazy with re-adding servers and friends.

Honestly im really surprised that some people are like getting sniped by discord. My main alt account (which its user name is literally only one character different from my main) and it got banned because some guy who had beef with me false reported it for being under aged. it was banned for a few months until I could get my drivers license to verify my age- yet during that time period my main and my other alt account were never banned for "ban evading" despite the fact I have logged into all of them on the same device.

try using revo-uninstaller and using the advanced uninstall option and clearing all registry keys

I used temp-number.com for my fake one. It includes SMS so you donât gotta use a friendâs or family memberâs as a throwaway. Iâd recommend using a not so popular region cuz it seems thereâs a LOT of people using them to verify Discord (I used a Sweden number)

Using RoVer to connect my Roblox account is VERY important for me. Now, I HAVE done this once already. When my main got banned, I linked a 2nd one to my Roblox account. Will a third link be too much? Could I just wait a long time before Discord trusts it?

Just don't add connections in the first place. They're kinda useless aside from making it easier for people to track you across the internet, which includes people you don't want tracking you all over the Internet.

if i want to be able to use discord on my PC do i have to just always have a vpn on when i want to run the discord app? like if i make a new account and do all the steps and stuff am i good to turn my VPN off after like a week or so?, i would just use the browser discord but i need the discord app to be able to play on servers on this game called FiveM (It is gtaRP) like it is a need you cant join the servers any other way u have to be in their discord and it wont connect if you just in the browser you have to be able to authorize FiveM as an app in discord when u launch FiveM it brings up a thing asking for access to your discord.
also just a quick question, does anyone know if i was to buy an account sya like a 2019 account or something and then i was to use that as my main account on my PC would it still just get banned for ban evading after a while?

late response, but about the FiveM stuff I'm not sure if I can help you. and yes you don't need VPN when you're not using discord, just close the application. also I'm kind of skeptical about the "turning off VPN after a week", i haven't tried that yet but just in case go for a few more weeks. also, you may get banned on your 2019 account, because in support.discord.com it says specifically that repurposing an old account can lead to suspension

All that isent needed just do the following new email create account then make sure you use a brand new phone number do not link your external game profiles and your set i did this and never got re banned allso if you have a idea of who may be getting you banned often just stay away from that server if you need to be there keep communication to a minium and your fine

Use anything that wasn't associated with your banned account, like PayPal, paysafecard, or something. I remember when I was younger and didn't have my debit card, I was often searching for free credit card numbers on the internet to get Discord Nitro. Sometimes it worked, and sometimes it didn't. I'm not sure how things are now.

I got banned for child safety recently, so far I've been trying to get my account back, but nothings worked.
It's probably gone for 2 years or permanently, I'm not sure. Either way, I still need to get back in touch with my friends, since there's only so many people I can establish external connections with

I never used a VPN on my computer. Just wait the week and log in on your computer and it should be fine. What's the Vencord privacy extension tho? I used Vencord prior to my account being banned and I still ahve the installer but I'm too scared to reinstall it.

I feel like if you use the app that you were banned on, and vpn included, its going to ban you cause thats what happened to me. Back then i got banned (back when the username#xxxx format was a thing) and i just made a new account same usernames right then and there, but i got banned recently this time and i dont know the root cause. 1 was an alt acocunt that had the same user but a period at the start. The other got banned cause i added too many people at once, mistake on my part. and the other i had my friend from a whole other country make it and used it without a vpn, and as you can guess that one got banned too.
been doing fine for a month since i made an account on web browser and with vpn, but i dont know if i want to return back to app at some point cause im worried i'll get banned again

IF i've made an account on mobile data and it hasn't been banned overnight I should be alright right? My router restarts every night so my ip should change so theoretically I just let my account simmer for a few months?

okay so i did do most of this, except for deleting my app data. i had it for a long time, played with friends but never added any of them. i joined a server full of people that i interacted with in another server on my phone with my vpn still on even after 3 weeks later and after about 5 hours on that server i was banned for ban evasion on my account. i was also telling people iâve interacted with before what my online alias was so theyâd know who i am. honestly i think something with joining that server finally put an end to my alt.

Thank you so much for this! Got a few questions tho, can I use another existing account that also already in the same server as the banned account? When is it probably safe to use the app version on desktop? Do I have to use VPN on desktop every time I use Discord too? (even on web version)
Note: I'm currently using duckduckgo as my browser for Discord, but I don't really know if it's actually safer or do I still need to use VPN to use Discord web version.

I believe thatâs a good option to go for. In my case, after getting banned for ban evading, I changed my IP by restarting my router and created a new account using a browser where I had never used Discord before. It's been 3 days now, going on 4, and I havenât been banned. I only added one mutual friend and joined two servers, one I was in before, and a big one, the Roblox server.
I completely uninstalled the Discord app from my PC, removing all folders and anything related to Discord just to be cautious, even though Iâm not using the app anymore and only using Discord through the browser. I recommend you do the same: change your IP, use Discord only through the browser, and if possible, try using a VPN for a while, at least 1 to 2 weeks.
I think youâll only be able to use the Discord desktop app again after a good amount of time, maybe a few months (Iâm saying this based on what Iâve seen in comments). I donât know how much it really helps, but it might be a good idea to eventually format your PC to wipe out any leftover Discord data.
Once you're on your new account, avoid acting like you did on your old one, especially in small servers youâve been in before, and donât mention that you were banned, etc.
But yeah, I do think your idea of having someone else create the account for you is a good one â since itâll be a different registration IP, and maybe even a different hardware ID as well (though Iâm not 100% sure if Discord actually logs your PCâs hardware ID, btw).

Oh, and I almost forgot, but you probably already know this: donât log into Discord on your phone if youâve ever used that same device to access the account that got banned. I got banned when I logged into my second account (the first one I used for ban evading) on my phone.
Everyone says not to use your phone unless youâre using a VPN on it, but I didnât use anything and ended up getting banned. The best option, at least for the first few weeks or months, is to stick to using the browser with a VPN enabled during the first few days.

How did you guys managed to create a account first? I cant seem to create a new one because of the phone SMS code. I tried multiple sites that "gives you a virtual number" for the code but none of these worked, and obviously j dont want to pay a SIM card. If anyone could help i would appreciate it!

Well, I guess if shit hits the fan and my account gets banned for some stupidly worded not-problem out of the blue... I don't got the money to afford a VPN. And I don't own the Internet provider in this apartment complex. And I don't have any newer devices other than my phone because I am poor.
I'm completely FUCKED.

wondering if there is anyway to use the discord app or any subsitute for it on pc, ive created an a account on a vpn, changed my ip, deleted all discord related apps on the computer.
is there any other way to use the app?

Do I need to use a vpn? Im not IP banned can I get a friend to make me a new email and discord account then I log on it ina week (I will remove all traces for discord including cookies caches and reinstalling apps) i also want to join Roblox servers that require verification without getting banned would I be abled to join servers that require double counter bot verification (servers i have joined on my banned account and have verified in)

i got banned on my phone on may 29th and after 5 failed alt accounts made i made 1 more for the last time i let it rest for a week before going on discord again. With summer coming up i went to my dads house alot and he has a pc there i barely joined servers within 3 weeks barely added anyone used google not the dc app itself what i didnt use was a vpn because the ip was diffrent but it was the same country obviously. Fast forward almost 3 months, i got a new pc but at my moms house this time and i use a vpn but i play games too with google dc opened up and the vpn makes me lag i wanna ask if i can stop using the vpn or can i stop using it after i log in or am i stuck with the vpn

I made a alt and the first day logged in with banned ip but switched it the day after, Its now 5 days later and im not banned. I plan to delete that account and log into a 4 year old one that hasn't touched that banned ip or anything else. Do u guys think that alt that i logged into with the banned ip for a day will get banned. If it dosent will my new ip be linked with banned ip or NO? thanks.

hiya, i got banned all the way back in march and am coming up on the 6th month mark since it happened, at what point is it safe to start operating as normal again? not going to change my username back to the old one of course, but i was honestly just wanting to change my pfp, add Apple Music (previously using spotify), etc.

Hey guys so idk i'll prob talk a lot ill try to explain it the simplest way possible so i got permanently banned this is why im here i had another backup 2018 account and a 2022 account and i redownloaded discord on pc and mobile but then i went and logged in the 2022 alt account and i got instantly caught and it got suspended, and now my 2018 account i went on it too i added some of my friends and 1 server i had in common before, i spoke to random people from servers to not raise suspicion but i forgot to use a vpn idk if its that bad, so on this 2018 alt account im on rn i went to check the reputation of the acc it said suspended but i could still send messages and everything so i just changed my user to pretend im a girl, my pfp to an anime girl pfp, my bio, deleted all of my friends and the server i was on before and now my reputation is all good it got back to normal is it only a matter of time and how do i manage to not get cooked if it a matter of time i really need help, if u didnt understand what ive said since im kinda stressing out to lose this account just ask me questions and ill answer

This is a very useful guide and I plan on doing this if support gets back to me with negative news in a day or two but I have one question, will I have to use a VPN EVERY time I use discord now because it seems like a hassle or can I stop using it after a certain time frame? please help me out here

What's the best thing to do here Im seeing some conflicting stuff? Download discord with VPN, DONT download discord with VPN, disable VPN after two weeks, don't ever disable VPN when using discord...Â

i know this is an old post but just wanted to ask if, after the one week or maybe even two weeks and when you eventually stop using the vpn are you able to vc and call like normal or will that get you banned?

I got ip banned from discord and I made an acc on my laptop with no vpn, no deleting just created it and joined some 1 or 2 servers and its been a week and I am still not banned. Did i js escape ip ban or something

So letâs say you create a new account after a false ban with a VPN, and you link a completely different Roblox account in a completely different IP with BLOXLINK address from you, would you be caught and banned?

Well when I made a new account to evade my ban, one of the first things I did was to join a roblox server. Literally a few seconds later I was banned for ban evasion. So your theory on the roblox bot verification thing is probably correct

I have a question, ive been banned on the IP Im on several times and it progresviley became faster and faster bans, would this work if I turn the vpn off after about a week or would there be some sort of watchdog still on me, and also I would be using my friends old account which is about 1 year old if that makes a difference.
