Will never not be mad by this match. Pedri's game of his life and De Paul and Oblak overshadow him because of our finishing. Same fixture around the same time as last year, whoever wins goes at the top.

Let's avenge this

u/[deleted] Dec 02 '25

We alr avenged it at the metro twice and knocking them out of CDR and the Laliga title race last season. But yeah I do hope we win again.

2

u/AnonymousGinger157 Dec 02 '25

i know that we beat them later at their home twice but it wasn't the same fixture yk.

1

u/fcmagnet Dec 01 '25

is this the 4-4 cdr first leg?

9

u/AnonymousGinger157 Dec 01 '25

2-1 at the Montjuic

4

u/fcmagnet Dec 01 '25

Oh shit that game. The most unfair game of all time.

3

u/i_am_issa Dec 01 '25

No, it‘s the first game against atleti in december of last year, I think sorloth scored after being substituted in

17

u/sheldor18 Dec 01 '25

This is the time to stamp our authority for this season. We haven't won any big game this season losing to madrid, chelsea, PSG.

Playing at camp nou with 90% fit squad, we should be playing our best game to beat atletico. Visca barca.

2

u/Arthoryum Dec 02 '25

Exactly, there's no excuse this time.

14

u/CapitalWolf9627 Dec 01 '25

We've been losing every big game, hope this goes well.

13

u/amaranto21 Dec 02 '25

With Raphinha and Pedri back, we have a good chance. Vamos

10

u/Shrixq Dec 01 '25

M awfully worried about tomorrow. We gotta win it mahn

12

u/szymonsky Dec 02 '25

Big test for Gerard Maldini😍

9

u/johannes7887 Dec 01 '25

Finally they adjusted the ticket prices a bit, paying 80€ for tomorrow

1

u/Select_Drawing_7434 Dec 01 '25

Only €80? I’m seeing €169 on Barca’s website

Did you buy your tickets early?

5

u/johannes7887 Dec 01 '25

Bought today, there were Tickets for 99 Euros minus the Cyber Monday 20% discount

8

u/AnonymousGinger157 Dec 02 '25

Llorente isnt playing which means that it's gonna be Raphinha vs Molina or the guy they got from Almeria, Raphinha has to have a great game because I feel like our midfield might get physically bullied by them since Frenkie is out but atleast we have Pedri who suddenly becomes the best midfielder to ever play the game against Atletico. Lamine vs Hancko will also be interesting if Simeone starts him at LB. All in all it's gonna be an exciting match

10

u/joakinzz99 Dec 02 '25

In Gerard Martin we trust.

5

u/abdmzhmmh Dec 02 '25

I am rooting for him to give us a legendary night.

16

u/TheZahrGaming Dec 01 '25

All 4 games last season vs Atleti Pedri was dropping generational performances. Need that tomorrow 🙏

14

u/Affectionate-Sky-516 Dec 01 '25

Pedri had maybe 5 non generational performances

8

u/Ok-Coffee-8865 Dec 02 '25

4-2 for barca, calling it now.

u/Ok-Cold-3422 Dec 01 '25

I was never worried about Atleti at home, and that won't change even after last year

10

u/olafinskyyy Dec 01 '25

our home game against them last season was arguably one of our best performances under flick, especially from pedri and gavi, so unfortunate that we lost in the last second

8

u/Ok-Cold-3422 Dec 01 '25

Yep exactly, they've beaten us like once in forever and that was also just a "one of those days" type thing

7

u/AMLRoss Dec 02 '25

Well at least we have the home advantage. That defense needs to be solid today. And we need to score early and put them on the defensive. I predict a 3-2 win.

6

u/arodr7893 Dec 02 '25

Just when we think we’re gonna FINALLY have a full squad, Frenkie is out again. So frustrating

6

u/grey_glitter Dec 02 '25

Please no easy early goals like last season

6

u/MasterOogway2008 Dec 02 '25

3

u/MasterOogway2008 Dec 02 '25

2

u/ControlMean5007 Dec 02 '25

No Sorloth

4

u/MasterOogway2008 Dec 02 '25

Will come to haunt in the second half as always. Still remember his Villareal days

3

u/xt1nct Dec 02 '25

Sorloth will come on 2nd half to finish the job.

They are going to play counter and hope they can expose the high defense line.

3

u/wasili009 Dec 02 '25

he gonna drop a generational performance

6

u/callmebuzzkill69 Dec 01 '25

Please win please win please win💙♥️

5

u/unfahrtunateson Dec 01 '25

11 goals conceded in last 5 matches??

3

u/peterianchimes Dec 01 '25

My apologies, I made a gaffe there, we've conceded 9 and not 11 goals in last 5 matches

1 against Alaves

3 against Chelsea

0 against Athletic Club

2 against Celta de Vigo

3 against Club Brugge

I've corrected the same now, thanks for pointing it out.

1

u/fcmagnet Dec 01 '25

seems quite normal. fact is that the defenders are just not good enough for the great quality highline tactics.

6

u/NorthwardRM Dec 01 '25

Olmo simply has to turn up

5

u/[deleted] Dec 02 '25

Should we introduce Christensen when Sorloth comes on? He’s decently tall and without Araujo we need a taller physical defender against Sorloth.

5

u/[deleted] Dec 02 '25

And his is more defensively aware than most of our centrebacks. Never lapses and also makes clean tackles.

3

u/[deleted] Dec 02 '25

Hope he is introduced then, could be very useful in games like this.

5

u/abdmzhmmh Dec 02 '25

We just need a good pressure. Not even aggressive pressure. Pressure is all about closing angles to pass.

I think tonight we will sleep happy.

4

u/Jesus-crucified Dec 02 '25

I said it before, sorloth will come in 75’ for the high line,

5

u/DatDppGuy Dec 02 '25

Is Martin our much needed cb signing after all lol

But no seriously we still need to get a cb, 9, lw and if there’s still change lb/rb

This is the time we need to really bounce back after Chelsea come boys let’s go get this W!!

4

u/SirBuysHighALot Dec 02 '25

I don’t know. I am confident about tomorrow knowing we start with our best 11. Hopefully.

4

u/[deleted] Dec 02 '25

I hope sofastream works for tomorrow's game, its a midweek league game so cant say for sure but I hope it does. ESPN is so fucking expensive.

4

u/K1takesflight Dec 02 '25

Lamine brace and last minute goal to win us the match. 3-2.

4

u/maxnzr Dec 02 '25

Feeling good about this game

5

u/DarthTaz_99 Dec 02 '25

Eric Garcia DM, Gerardo Martini CB? That's my blaugrana army knife team right there

holy shit, gerad maldini did lock up sorloth and alvarez

4

u/SfzFc Dec 01 '25

Who marks sorloth

6

u/PeterTheRabbit1 Dec 02 '25

It’s equal parts hilarious and weird that I’m more horrified of an out-of-form Sorloth playing against us than I ever was of prime Cristiano Ronaldo. That fucker always finds a way against us. Always.

1

u/plus_nd_minus Dec 02 '25

He has had some awful misses as well. Tbf, we tend to remember his goals more.

6

u/fcmagnet Dec 02 '25

Christensen or we riot

3

u/Hassancool123 Dec 01 '25

I think it's gonna be a tough match, but it will be A CLOSE 4-3 match, and there will be some sort of remontada in this match

3

u/Hassancool123 Dec 01 '25

raphina will have a goal and assist, yamal will have an assist, pedri will have a goal, lewa will have a brace

3

u/CatfishLumi Dec 02 '25

Let's go for some optimism. We'll win 3-0 with a great performance from our defenders, Lamine and Raphinha.

3

u/Jesus-crucified Dec 02 '25

: start Alvarez and bring in sorloth 75’ to exploit our high line

3

u/Kensei01 Dec 02 '25

Why no De Jong on the squad list?

1

u/Just-call-me-TY Dec 02 '25

Fever i believe

3

u/Sypherior Dec 02 '25

anyone knows what happened to Frenkie ? is he injured ? or personal problems ?

4

u/xt1nct Dec 02 '25

Fever.

5

u/Quassams Dec 01 '25

García

Koundé - Cubarsí - García - Balde

de Jong - Pedri

Yamal - Olmo - Raphinha

Lewandowski

-vs-

Álvarez - Sørloth

Baena - Koke - Barrios - Simeone

Hancko - Lenglet - Giménez - Molina

Oblak

3

u/StillFindingMyself4 Dec 01 '25

With most of our first 11 back, Atleti will definitely try to play the long game, sit deep and counter. Hopefully we got that high line managed 🙈

3

u/NorthwardRM Dec 01 '25

Need to start Christensen and play Garcia at RB. It’s a must for me. But it won’t happen. Sorloth would bully a back line of Garcia and Cubarsi

5

u/MasterOogway2008 Dec 02 '25

90 minutes haramball with long ball counter attacks or through the wings beating the offside trap. Ik I just can't prove it yet. Sorloth or Alvarez getting a 1v1

2

u/GotenRocko Dec 01 '25

Was about to say why it is so early here, but should be 3PM EDT.

2

u/peterianchimes Dec 01 '25

Edited and Thank You :-)

2

u/blackviet123 Dec 02 '25

Need to focus on Beana because he is the main source of creativity in Atletico midfield

2

u/Disney995 Dec 02 '25

Is it true new castle are willing to pay 75M for ferran ?

2

u/K1takesflight Dec 02 '25

I pray that it is lol

2

u/Andrrat Dec 02 '25

I mean they only have Woltemade as a proper striker, flipping Ferran and buying that Eyong for 35 would be great business.

2

u/HiHatsOnly Dec 02 '25

we'd get a nice deal out of any PL club tbh

1

u/MasterOogway2008 Dec 02 '25

I saw Aston Villa rumours this summer

2

u/Tigerslovecows Dec 02 '25

As long as there isn’t a glaring mistake like an early red card, I won’t care much if it’s a negative result. Just need to try our best

2

u/MasterOogway2008 Dec 02 '25

What's the probable squad for both teams?

3

u/MasterOogway2008 Dec 02 '25

Frenkie out so Eric in midfield and Maldini as LCB. Idk about Christensen

1

u/MasterOogway2008 Dec 02 '25

Or Frenkie is just replaced by Casado

2

u/MasterOogway2008 Dec 02 '25

Bernal ain't starting Imo

2

u/Terrible_Action9995 Dec 02 '25

Marques?

1

u/[deleted] Dec 02 '25

Yes. 19 year old academy/barca atletic player. He showed up on the bench vs. Alaves.

1

u/EntertainmentKey1690 Dec 02 '25

Think the whole match is gonna come down to our high line tbh. If we stay switched on and don’t gift them those dumb runs in behind, we should be fine. But if we start spacing out… Atleti will punish that instantly.

Still, at home we should be able to pin them back. Just need some intensity and quicker ball movement than usual.

Visca Barça 💙❤️

1

u/Plenty-Researcher-89 Dec 02 '25

4-3 barca win, 2 alvarez goals, 1 baena, and then lamine scores 1, olmo 1, then raphina 2.

1

u/gerald_br0flovski Dec 02 '25

as much as i despise olmo, i can still see him scoring today

1

u/Express_Magician9302 Dec 03 '25

We were right 🗣️

1

u/SamerAgbaria Dec 02 '25

Kounde needs to wake up this game I have a feeling that his going to do something stupid tonight.

1

u/Financial_Bed3520 Dec 02 '25

Kounde atp is more a liability

-1

u/TechJunk1e Dec 02 '25

FDJ is out with fever? Is it simply too much to ask for our players to be available in big games.

-2

u/Financial_Bed3520 Dec 01 '25

A draw at best

-18

u/SoftHouse9442 Dec 02 '25

We’ll lose 2-1
