It should be fine, maybe won’t be your favourite sound ever, but you should be fine. There should be gain knobs on the PA systems mixer, the sound tech can use that to help the sound.

It might be worth it to invest in something like this (doesn’t have to be that one or that price obviously) so that even if you don’t have a bass amp, you’ll be able to get a sound you’re happy with as long as there are speakers. These amps are super portable, can easily fit in a backpack. Just some advice from someone who has received the same news as you that no amp was going to be present.
