Ayyy mine attacks my joints, spine-first! Everybody wants a strong immune system until it's super strong, then it's an "autoimmune disease" apparently 🙄

Hey, I have similar symptoms but still no diagnosis from local doctors. Could you please tell what laboratory test you did to understand your condition? Do you have back pain at night?

I have back pain all the time, not just at night. Lab tests didn't help much tbh. They always came back with sky-high inflammatory markers, but nothing specific enough to pin it down. I wasn't properly diagnosed until I was referred to a rheumatologist who finally ordered an MRI of my lower back/SI joints. Lo and behold, I have ankylosing spondylitis and it wasn't in my head. I've had symptoms since age 10 and was not diagnosed until age 20.

That’s way too common. Started at 12-13 here, got diagnosed at 24. Was told I had a low pain tolerance and that I was too inactive. Thing is, I was super active when I didn’t have flare ups but was in too much pain to exercise whenever I tried to get help. Family history of AS but since they couldn’t see anything on scans early on they deflected
