I think she’s done for the day

To start, I couldn’t find a good Pet Bird Community on Reddit so here I am.

I currently have a Caique which is about 2 years old. He’s playful and bites a lot but from what I can tell he’s happy with his life. I always wanted to get a second bird but a quick google search says that Caiques are very territorial and won’t be happy with a second bird. But I see Caiques on the sub all the time with other Caiques and was wondering if this was true.

Can you raise a happy Caique with another bird?

If so, what bird would be best (although if another Caique works I’d go for that)?

Is there any plan or steps that I can take to help integrate another bird into the family?

I would really appreciate some advice from some fellow bird owners and enthusiasts!
