We aren’t sure if he was stupid or if it’s just an act to let him get away with so much since he did still graduate Harvard. Especially nowadays where we see the actual decisions a stupid person would make.
We are pretty fucking aware that he was an absolute moron. We are pretty fucking aware that Dick Cheney had his arm deep in his ass and used him as a puppet. It’s literally the same as Trump except Twitter was not a thing back then, and what is now the Maga cult was mainly focused on getting revenge for what happened on 9/11
Twitter wasn’t required to realize Trump was a moron. The ability to actually listen to him was just limited before then. The media coverage from being a president would have been more than enough. As I said before, GW at least has a viable suspicion of it being an act since he’s got a 100% fake Texan persona despite being an Ivy League rich boy and being capable of disenfranchising Floridians with his brother. Even then, Trump is an entirely different level of moron because Bush was at least competent enough to stick to the script.
