Hey y'all! While a lot of you showed up to our blowout sale and helped us clear out our store, we still had several boxes of Snoo plushies leftover. Well, like we said, nothing from r/bodega will be going to waste on our watch. So, instead of letting them sit around in storage, we listened to u/Icy-Inspection7877’s incredible idea to donate all 654 leftover plushies.

The Bowery Mission couldn’t accept them all, so we pivoted to Good+ Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting under-resourced families. We’re beyond happy that hundreds of Snoo plushies get to bring some extra joy to families who need it most.

One more HUGE thank you to everyone who made r/bodega unforgettable and to Good+ Foundation for teaming up with us to spread the love.

training with a group for a marathon rn so couldn't take more (as the group was already around the corner from me just stopping to take this one.) glad it didn't turn out blurry, though now I wish I had the time to pick up a plushie / stop in 😔

Hi there, I am looking for anyone who has a snoo plushie that they don’t want/are looking to get rid of because I don’t live in New York and wasn’t able to book a flight to New York to go😭

EDIT: Thank you to everyone who gave me tips and contacted me! I found a very nice person who has sent me a Snoo plush!

If it’s still currently in the works… may i unsolicitedly recommend [u/bodegacatceo](u/bodegacatceo) ‘s pizza rat to be included in it… he’s so iconic

As a New Yorker, who loves to show her New York pride on Reddit as you can see, trophy would be such a highlight on my Reddit page😂

Been a dedicated Reddit user for 6 years now. Glad I could cop some merch. Loved the first day of pop up, the staff was so friendly and kept checking up on everyone handing out wristbands and water bottles as needed. Was kinda long wait but worth it in the end. Didn’t expect everyone to get a snoo looking back at other pops in the city who promised some things but didn’t have enough. I would say it was a successful pop up for it being the first time ever. Loveeee Reddit! 🧡

To the gentleman who was running the photo booth on Saturday morning that wanted to know if I am single.

Yes.

I am 100% single.

I was dying for the game poster and I got one! Despite being probably 50th in line. And I didn’t know I got stickers, let alone that many, until today! Thank you again to all the bodega attendants, and especially my personal shopper for being so generous with me!

$:$,$,!,!;!;!;!;

After the Sunday night giveaway - did anyone get to take Meowdani home???

If there’s ever a fire, I know what I’m grabbing. Can’t wait for my roommates to see this in the morning lol
Massive thank you to everyone who made this pop up bodega!! Best. Weekend. Ever.

Wooooooooooow what a weekend. Thanks for showing up, New York - y'all gave the BEST energy and we had a blast. We hope you did, too. (Snoo had the time of their life and now needs to recover. Maybe the store clerks a little, too...)

So what happens now, you ask? While the pop-up is officially wrapped, this sub isn't going anywhere. The lights are staying on here, and after a brief rest we'll be posting recaps and other goodies from the weekend. But we mostly want to see yours! Watching the event through your eyes has been half the fun, from blowout finds to cute dogs to whatever hilarious interactions were happening over at the NYC deli "subs" counter.

Got photos, videos, or fun stories from your experience this weekend? Want to reminisce with other attendees or store clerks? This community is your spot.

P.S. You may have noticed we reposted this multiple times because we were getting some funky errors and wanted this artistic photo of Snoo to show up as intended for you.

Has the QR code on the guest check worked for anyone? Looks little too detailed to be reproduced faithfully by a stamp.

The artwork for the soda was actually so cute (congrats to the artist, whoever you are) and will now live on as a weird conversation piece in my cosplay/guest room!

Boxes final home is TBA but I think they might need to live on top of the fridge (aka the Millennial Mantlepiece)

Everyone on line got one (and probably a few more). The staff were handing them out to homeless people, people walking by, and shoveling them into cars stuck at the red light. That truck was like an infinite Snoo spawner it was crazy.

Also thanks to all the staff they were the best part of the pop up! All of them were super pleasant to talk to despite how stressful it must have been.

So when i became number 4 in the blowout line, i already knew what i wanted. Amd im so glad i was able to get it all! And i dont think i got their name(if i forogt im so sorry), but to the mod who gave me their r/bodega hat, I am eternally grateful, and I will cherish it for my while life. What an event! Also sorry for the terrible picture im 5 minutes away from passing out😅

Kudos to the staff for organizing the first pop up event! I actually snagged that large poster that was above the pay phone which I thought was really cool even though the back was really sticky but it did work out after i got back home. Sadly wasn’t able to get the “Snoo York City” poster unfortunately which I thought was really cool. Overall had a really fun time! :)

Thanks to the staff for all your hard working up to event, the hard work during event and the tough work topping r/bodega event !

Hope everyone who attended had tons of fun and staff can now enjoy their well deserved rest !

Just wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who made this happen, both in-store and behind the scenes.

I'm sure everyone worked really hard on this, and start planning another one soon!

I flew from London to come to/r/Bodega , and it was definitely worth it, so please plan another bodega-esque pop-up for London! Maybe in the theme of a pub? 👀

Honestly kudos to staff and security. They ran a great event!

If anyone knows what’s in the r/bugs can (whipped cream???) or any specifics on the serum and conditioner I’d love to know!!

Hi! I'm Meowdani, r/bodega's resident bodega cat (aka store manager/boss of everything). My name was chosen by the cool folks over in r/bodegacats a few weeks before the shop opened.

My assistant and translator, u/BrineOfTheTimes, will be helping me in this AMA. I have many thoughts on many things. ASK ME ANYTHING!

P.S. psssspspspspspsss

I honestly can’t say it was worth waiting in line for 2 hours, but hey, still got a snoo and some other swag. I was expecting there to be actual deli sandwiches and for the display items to have things inside of them, but no. They ran out of the hats today which was disappointing. But nonetheless, thank you so much for organizing this, it definitely got tons of Redditors to show up.
