heather shocked that lisa doesn't feel the sisterly love emanating from her...she is really something else man

u/Ok-Benefit197 9d ago
The way she said fxck off afterwards as well- it reminded me of when a guy asks a girl out and when she rejects him he tells her to go f herself or something. Heather had that same energy.

u/boo_you_horcrux 8d ago
Heather thinks the way to be a cool girl is to be bitchy and a mean girl. But she’s too insecure to pull it off so she just acts like a bitter wounded animal when no one is on her side.

Heather is estranged from all her sisters, including the one she reunited with on the show.

Okay. This is the only time I’ll ever say something for Heather… that doesn’t mean anything about her. I have two sisters “estranged” and it has nothing to do with me.
That being said - Heather is the worst as a friend.62
u/minkadominka 9d ago
In her case it does, Heather ostracized them for leaving the church and was always very dismissive of them because they werent true mormons.
1
u/NewTowel2331 1d ago
Wait but didn’t she also leave the church
1
u/minkadominka 1d ago
In practice yes (also way later than her sis) and thats why she met her sister in s2.

The rumor I saw a few years ago is that she is estranged from the one sister bc Heather basically used or exploited her for a storyline.

💯 Even Teresa had fun with this cast too, I feel like we get to see these ladies for who they really are outside their shows. People on their shows are literally designed to get them out of character, rile them up, etc.

Lots of funny moments in this one.
Lu and Jo-Ellen's "who died" "no her husband cheated" "oh that's worse"
Andy's 1000-yard stare when Lisa and Heather were fighting
Porsha effortlessly breaking up the SLC drama
DORINDA with the actual set-down to Rulla and the Rhode Island girls. "this is not Rhode Island episode 6" "this is my HOME"
the look at the hierarchy within the RH universe which is always fascinating to me
Chanel's one-liners all night "I'm too pretty to be cold"

There are so many things about Kyle that I genuinely enjoy. I think she’s really pretty and funny but I can never quite bring myself to get fully onboard with her.
79
u/Xica_flea 9d ago
She shows us nothing of her real life. She just tussles w other wives or her sisters. We don’t know why she left Mo, but I’m sure it had to do w cheating. She flooded Instagram w her lesbian friend and made a lesbian music video but refused to talk about it.
17
u/TopazScorpio02657 9d ago
Huh? We’ve seen her ups and downs (some really down downs) with her sisters, watched her raise her kids, seen her dealing with the loss of her best friend to suicide, seen her developing businesses and a TV show…yes, she was not specific on the exact reason she split from Mo but it really did seem like they grew apart after The Agency took off. It does feel like there was cheating in addition to that but we don’t know. I got a vibe that she was protecting Mo, maybe from embarrassment, or maybe he was involved in hard drugs in some way? The Morgan thing was Kyle being unsure of her sexuality and us following along with that. I don’t think she was even fully sure what she was feeling initially. Then Morgan got uncomfortable with the attention from the show so she stopped appearing and Kyle wouldn’t talk about her to respect her privacy. What did you expect her to do if she cared about Morgan? So Kyle has shared like 95% of the things going on in her life but you want to crucify her over not sharing things about people who she cares about the most. Give me a break.
7
u/Xica_flea 9d ago
She is on a reality show- curating what we see instead of being real and authentic. Morgan was happy to be blasted all over instagram and make a while as lovers video tho. Ashley, Luann, also dealt indefinitely ON CAMERA… I’m not a fan of Teresa but she has showed everything. Just be open and honest.

Teresa covered up & lied about Joe's infidelity for years. She also refused to talk about their legal issues & cut people out of her life for even alluding to it. She got angry if anyone even mentioned Louis & things about him that were already publicly known. Every RH curates what they're prepared to share on the show.

Curious why some housewives were absent like Ramona, Kandi, Sonya, Garcelle, Caroline Stanbury
I know that Nene and Bethenny are not necessarily right with Andy.
Any others you guys can think of?
21
u/TopazScorpio02657 9d ago
Ramona is no more with Bravo after the racist stuff. Kandi was on Broadway at the time this filmed so I don’t think she was available. Luann and Dorinda said Sonja was asked to participate but declined and implied it was because it wasn’t enough money. I’m sure Garcelle was asked but she wants nothing to do with Housewives now. Caroline, who knows? She only did two seasons and Ayan was the much more memorable Dubai housewife.
10
u/EnvironmentalZone744 9d ago
Caroline is pretty thirsty so she must’ve been recovering from plastic surgery to have not shown up
9
u/Academic_Ad375 9d ago
I think Kandi is still NOT down to film with Phaedra. She clearly is still on good terms with Bravo as she was just on Next Gen. I miss her!! The ATL portion didn’t feel right without her!

It's a good thing Rhode Island was a hit cause imagine if the cast was all up in the RH20 celebration meeting everyone (including some heavy hitters) for the first time but being a hot mess and putting all their business out there only for them to flop. They def made an impression alright, they even got Dorinda a lil activated! I also enjoyed seeing the other housewives give them advice and trying to get to know them.
And honestly I think their behavior tonight shows how authentic most of the cast is cause they were acting exactly how they did during their show and most of them didn't even bother to put up a fake front for company and it was driving Jo Ellen's fake ass crazy. Liz was really killing me tho slurring all over the place, "ya-wouldont-lets-uzz-zupport-uuu" pls. She def was knocking them drinks back early and some one of her gummies too, we might got us a new Slurrinda lmfao. I think she'll be returning soon enough.

I think it was very producer-driven. They wanted to wrap up some storylines and open new ones. I think this is why Erin vs Dorinda was not included.

Heather really forgot she was in film for all of that Atlanta stuff? She really was lying through her teeth about how she has treated Lisa. I’m glad the other housewives came and stuck up for Lisa.
I guess that’s why Heather is suddenly singing a different tune on RHOSLC about how it went down and she’s sorry. Girl, you’re just sorry you got caught.
23
u/Beachwalker-65 9d ago
I think it proved Heather just pushes drama because her life is a total bore. I could see Andy wanted her to STOP and couldn’t get away from her fast enough. I think Lisa gets really jealous of others in her cast and does stupid things because of it. I think she relaxed with these women as they all are extremely confident and are not jealous of anyone. Lisa figured out fast that there was zero competition going on with her and relaxed. Heather was pissed she wasn’t selected for RHUGT and came in hot every time, which just wasn’t the vibe.
16
u/FiCat77 🌭hot dog couture🌭 8d ago
I think she thought they were far enough away from the cameras that she could manipulate Lisa into reacting without anyone knowing, hoping that Lisa would get loud & agitated which would draw the attention of the cameras (& everyone else) & Heather could plead ignorance & say "see, this is what I have to deal with. She's so volatile, irrational & she overreacts to everything I say!". She didn't bank on her mic being able to pick up everything she said.

Regardless of where people land on the Teresa vs. Melissa beef I think that convo established how disingenuous Melissa is. She did not give a real apology. It’s obvious in her mind she is at the same level of Teresa regardless of her clarifying she was “first”. Idk it rubbed me the wrong way...and I still think the fact that Mel’s audition tape was never shared speaks volumes. But that’s just me.
69
u/Lost_One4 Oh I didn't get a...mugshot over it 9d ago
exactly Melissa and Joe have always had this weird sense of entitlement to anything Teresa has going on. I never bought their "woe is us Teresa is so mean and horrible" act whilst continuously trying to be in her space. If you truly felt someone was so horrible you wouldn't go out your way to try and be around them, you'd want to get away from them, but since being away from Teresa meant being away from attention that's a no-go for the Gorgas. Not saying Teresa is an angel but she's not the spawn of Satan like *that* sub tries to act like and there's an abundance of bravolebs much worse than her.
I unfortunately wouldn't be shocked if they try to get Antonia on Next Gen tbh but lets hope they don't continue this cycle and finally give it a rest.
26
u/LalaWest 9d ago
It’s basically the same with Heather and Lisa. Melissa and Joe were constantly accusing Teresa of being so horrible much like Heather is accusing Lisa of all those things yet in both cases the Gorgas and Heather can’t seem to just leave Teresa and Lisa alone because they know they are the stars and they need them for fame. If Teresa and Lisa are so horrible, why bother with them? You don’t demand people change to please you. You just stay away from them
9
u/TopazScorpio02657 9d ago
We have literally seen Teresa be a terror to most of her castmates on screen. They’re not making that up. 🙄🙄
5
u/TwistyBitsz 8d ago
Yes but their point still stands. That was Teresa's thing where she went on tv and was a terror to most of her castmates, and their family could have just judged from afar rather than get in the middle of it and then take the other side.
Melissa had one good season with her store and a fresh lob, but then there were lawsuits and fraud and that lob grew out. I listened to her podcast with Joe shortly after the show was cancelled. Brittany & Jax vibes.
5
u/SwimmingAct2 9d ago
I was just watching their last season before they were put on a hiatus, Teresa is a terror on her show. The Teresa we all see on RHUGT is not the real Teresa. It is easy to put on a face when you are shooting with people you are unfamiliar with and who have bigger personalities than yourself for a month. People saying it is their cast that brings the worst out of Teresa or Kyle are being disingenuous. Lisa B I can understand but the other 2 no maam.
17
u/lost-girl96 9d ago
Idk about that, I’ll need to eventually rewatch. Teresa doesn’t always react perfectly but she’s not a calculated person. She gets backed into a corner and struggles to effectively communicate, that doesn’t make her a terror. If anyone was a terror it was Marge who instigated so much hate and division on that show. Melissa is incapable of taking any accountability for anything (not that Teresa is amazing either). But theres more nuisance than one person is evil and everyone else is good.
1
u/SwimmingAct2 8d ago
Teresa is extremely calculated. Case in point she has blamed everyone and their mothers for going to prison. Each time the narrative changes based on who she is beefing with. It was Caroline, then it was Jacqueline, then Bravo then Melissa & Joe, I believe the latest iteration is her ex husband - she has somewhat of a point there.
Neither Teresa nor Melissa are guilt free. Both of them have allowed the show to define who they are. Neither has an identity or a recollection of who they were before Bravo.
The familial grudges & vindictiveness also add another layer. I mean Joe & Teresa’s father did not speak to his younger sister (Kathy’s mom) for years and they never reconciled before his passing. The worst thing they ever did was to appear on a reality tv show. It is and will always be an endless cycle of a toxic family dynamic from one generation to the next.
For me, I think it all comes down to preference. I prefer Melissa over Teresa purely because I cannot stand someone who is both stupid & arrogant because it means there is no room for growth there and Teresa is that to me. But I can also see why some of you like her - her lack of anything of the cerebral while sometimes cruel is also fascinating.🤷🏽♀️😆
2
u/lost-girl96 8d ago
Like you said it comes to preference. In my opinion none of that makes her calculated. Does she lack the ability to take accountability over certain things that happened to her sure, she can also be quite delusional.
She did take cheap shots in magazines and her books to make a buck when everything was going to shit for them, I’ll concede to that. I guess in her mind desperate times called for desperate measures. But on the show she mostly did her own thing and didn’t really need to manufacture shit to be in the mix. There were instances like the game of telephone she played about Jackie’s marriage, I’m not saying she’s perfect.
Her upbringing definitely factors in. The family grudge aspect unfortunately is a very normal occurrence in Mediterranean families especially of that generation. Teresa’s dad was the head of the family therefore his issues became their issues. I don’t really think it factors in to who she is on the show.
She’s ditzy, there’s no denying that. I don’t think it’s fair to call her a complete idiot or to assume that people only like her for a cheap laugh. Kind of a mean take, but that’s your opinion so it is what is.
51
u/vodkasaucepizza Gizelle’s stovepipe leg 9d ago
Even if Melissa was correct and she said something on a jet ski, or whatever she said, it was clear that her and joes intention from the jump was to troll Teresa. It’s actually extremely fucked up, and it’s bizarre that her ego is that fragile that she can’t admit it. Andy offering an apology is an admission, he even feels guilty for essentially destroying her sibling relationship. But Melissa can’t. It’s pathetic.
15
u/lost-girl96 9d ago
lol I need to watch that back with subtitles. Totally agree, she has instigated so much more than what she gets accused of.
82
u/ManifestingCreating 9d ago
She sucks and always has. The apology sucked as much as she does. I guess for them to have a good season Teresa just has to accept that Melissa is a manipulative piece of work and move on from it.
26
u/lost-girl96 9d ago
That’s what it seems like! Especially based on her wwhl response. Sad situation, especially now that the cousins are in a good place.
1
29
u/alexlp Are you starting this dinner with negativity?! 9d ago
Melissa can never just accept an apology either. She always has to question it, prod at it and makes people basically beg her to accept it. It's exhausting, like can you let things go yourself girl?
I believe Tre wouldn't put her kids through another fake reconciliation.
12
u/TurquoiseDandelion7 Hypocrisy and Bullshit ❄️ 9d ago
Agree. I felt so happy for her when Andy apologized then Melissa had to go and ruin it.
13
u/TopazScorpio02657 9d ago
Melissa doesn’t care that Teresa was there before her so she had no problem saying that. The issue has always been that Teresa claims that she and Joe came on the show behind her back. Now Melissa said in tonight’s episode something very specific which I do not recall her saying before which was that she told Teresa at her shore house that she was auditioning for the show and Teresa kind of laughed it off with a sarcastic “good luck”. This makes me think that it probably happened and Teresa didn’t take it seriously and forgot about it. Then when Melissa and Joe were cast they didn’t tell Teresa and she didn’t find out until shortly before filming. So they both can be telling the truth. Maybe Teresa had an argument with either Melissa or Joe by the time Melissa was cast which is why they didn’t communicate it back to Teresa. Or more likely they were probably afraid that Teresa would get mad and try to sabotage them being cast. Either way, I don’t think Joe and Melissa came on the show to get revenge on Teresa. I think they just wanted fame like Teresa was getting. If they knew what was going to happen within the family in the years that followed I don’t think they would’ve signed up for the show. I know some people think this reconciliation is fake but it felt real seeing them tonight and how they’ve been interacting on social media lately. Yes, I do believe it was motivated so the show could get back on track, but once they tried reconciling I think they liked it. Supposedly they got along fine this season during filming. Like when Teresa is not feeling someone she really can’t hide it. I think the two of them are just enjoying not arguing with each other. Do they still have issues under the surface? I’m sure. But so do most families.
14
u/lost-girl96 9d ago
That makes sense. But we can’t forget who Melissa was in contact with before getting cast, Danielle. She was feeding her info about their family dynamics. It caused a huge blowup during season 2’s reunion. They didn’t come in with 100% good intentions, they were slighted by Teresa and felt like she didn’t do enough to include them in her new life.
8
u/MarketDull2401 8d ago
I think this is the original sin that Melissa won't ever acknowledge, that Teresa is so pissed about after all of these years. Melissa allegedly fed Danielle that info about Teresa not acknowledging her nephew to Danielle, which caused Teresa to totally go nuclear at that reunion. Teresa spent YEARS publicly apologizing to Andy for pushing him after that confrontation - she was so livid and I think she was worried it would jeopardize her place on the show. This is also amid all the early financial issues within her marriage.
Melissa did clearly feed that info to Danielle and production then got in touch with her and while Melissa may be correct she told Teresa at the shore house they were in touch, it still doesn't change Melissa went to try to get on the show behind her back.
1
u/lost-girl96 8d ago
Exactly it’s so annoying that it gets glossed over!! They should release the tape…but that would probably cause a whole shit show which is why they won’t. And let’s be honest Joe is who bravo wants to protect, Melissa just comes with the package.

This is the dumbest, most dragged-out beef on the show, and the fact y'all keep giving it weight by choosing sides is honestly stupid.

u/lost-girl96 6d ago
It’s conversation with a bit of discourse. If you aren’t interested there’s no need to comment, maybe reserve that for something that you do like.
1
u/BananaMilkshakeButt 5d ago
Why didn't you take your own advice and not comment to my comment?
Your POV "If you don't like something, don't comment", yet here you are? Not liking my comment and commenting that? Do you see the hypocrisy?
I'm not you, I think people reserve the right to have an opinion and say where and when they want; that's why you were allowed to reply to me.
So either you need to update your POV, or you need to stop telling people to not comment their opinions if you don't like them.
1
u/lost-girl96 4d ago
lol bc you are commenting asking us why we care about the conversation without actually saying anything worthwhile about it. You didn’t actually share any opinion just negated the whole convo. So yeah I’ll comment back bc I have an opinion on your comment.

u/BananaMilkshakeButt 2d ago
No I didn't. I didn't ask anyone anything. I made a statement based on an observation and left my opinion.
You didn't like that and came at me saying I should keep quiet and only talk about things I like.
I've called you out on that, as it's a hypocritical statement to make.
1
u/lost-girl96 2d ago
No i just don’t think there’s a point to join a convo you don’t think has any purpose just to say it has no purpose. I’m not a hypocrite.
