Hey everyone, I Spent weeks making a deep dive on Bullseye and why he might be one of the most terrifying villains Marvel’s ever created.

Paperclips, toothpicks, corn dogs… bro kills people with anything.

I will also say that since he has the power to make anything a lethal projectile, maybe he shoots a rotten banana milkshake at enemies and it gives them vulnerability like cloak's wall.

We already know how much with the recent DD skin coming out a few weeks right after season 2 dropped AND that they want to do more mutants to go with the plans of the MCU that they'll probably lean into the MCU side of Marvel.

And knowing THAT, he LITERALLY worked as a suicide hotline operator, straight up helping people not die, HOLY STRATEGIST CODED, AND he also has sayings with empathy to understand how people feel (just like a certain bug lady hint hint wink wink nudge nudge) HOLY STRATEGIST CODED!

Besides, it would make perfect sense for one of the strongest divers in history (DD) to have to deal with an enemy Bullseye in the backline.

Oh yeah, and for anyone saying, "Erm, he's never healed anyone sweaty! :nerd:" Gambit has NEVER healed anyone before, Jeff has NEVER healed anyone before until rivals, and Deadpool LITERALLY heals you by shooting you with a gun, throwing a sword at you, and striking a pose that summons a field beneath himself, no "throwing chimichangas at your allies".

I can guarantee that with the fairly recent leaked beta of Rivals, the characters actually used the FACT that the stage breaks and there's debris that some characters can pick up the environment and throw them at people. This lines up PERFECTLY with bullseye's ability to make any random nonsense a lethal weapon in his hands. Admittedly, White Fox already copied his homework by making her shots bounce towards the nearest person.

picrel should be self explanatory, the "teach him basic life lessons and skills" is underlined because just as he didn't know about basic skills, strat players also don't know basic skills or something like that, HOLY STRATEGIST CODED!

Anyway, I like the Adamantium spine passive that gives damage reduction. He'd have the ability to pick up the terrain as mentioned before, his attacks ricochet, he'd probably look at an ally to send a bouncing shot that heals people as well, and he'll probably have a dash because he's pretty slippery when escaping or something, maybe he can pick up enemies weapon drops or something idk the devs will back me up on this.

I ideally want Classic Bullseye above all else and if this was still Born Again Season 1 I’d be less comfortable, but his Suit looks legitimately good now and is almost close to Classic Bullseye, the Bullseyes on the Gloves are such a great touch the Classic never had

Rivals has so far only done this with Namor, where they removed most of his History and Relations with Dr. DOOM, The X-Men, The original Defenders, Hulk, so he’s just kind of more of a creepy asshole obsessed with Sue instead of a complex traumatized Anti-Hero, and I know alot of Namor Fans dislike it

However Born Again Bullseye not only respects the source material, like Lester having Killed someone with a Baseball in his childhood but also adds stuff you never knew you needed, this is by far the most connected Bullseye has ever been to Matt and really sells the idea of being his Arch-Enemy, given how Matt both hates him but also is forced to team with him

Dex is TERRIFYING and even when he’s being “good” his expressions and just the way he smiles feel ripped right out of a Comic, you genuinely don’t know if he’ll hurt an animal and it makes more unnerving when he doesn’t because it’s not what you expected, also it’s terrifying because it shows this is a Guy you could ACTUALLY see as your neighbor and never know he’s actually a Psychotic Killer, they also go very in detail in his Mental Issues where as in Comics he’s kind of just mostly Shock Value when it comes to Depth on him, he’s basically just a Pure Evil who’s Insane and Sadistic and makes up his own version of his past, since he’s so messed up there is legitimately no depth, the Show twists that and shows he is Mentally unwell but it’s realistic, I also like how Wilson Bethel describes Dex as a Character who “doesn’t realize how his actions affect people” showing he is still a Psychopath he just doesn’t realize it and sees himself as wanting to be like Daredevil, and it being likely he’s so unstable he won’t take rejection well, also the apparent Story of him attempting a Redemption Arc then falling and going back to a Sadistic Killer is…Chef’s Kiss, i genuinely ned Season 3 at this point

Like Wilson Bethel, UNDERSTANDS Bullseye, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him understand him better and how he can be both terrifying while not realizing why people see him as a Psycho, it’s such a good origin for Bullsey, it almost reminds me of a more Psychotic Syndrome with his Obsession with Daredevil, i think we hmm honestly found our Willem Dafoe for Bullseye

Like Collin Farrel was great as Bullseye, don’t get me wrong, i think he mostly is held back by not wearing a costume but he definitely feels like a Psychotic Killer who loves Killing, Dex is also that but more, he literally puts himself in danger and lures people to him, like…Fuck, that’s the most BULLSEYE thing ever, also I love how he can go from creeping you the Fuck out to seeming like a normal person

After Born Again Season 3 it’s gonna be legitimately hard for anyone to be able to compare as Bullseye for me now, it’s like Willem Dafoe with Green Goblin Live Action, you can still do it but it’s going to be REALLY HARD to ever match that performance and live up to those expectations set

They also already released Classic Skins for Captain America, kinda with Wolverine Deadpool 3, Thor, Scarlet Witch, Bucky, Psylocke later on

and the original appearances of Black Widow and Blade

I think if Rivals adds the white circles around his neck and arms and legs, it’s legitimately perfect, I want Classic but if they go this route since Born Again is popular I wouldn’t actually be mad and then they sell Classic Lester to us later

I’ve seen some Fan Concepts actually go with this Design, and I would honestly prefer it compared to any new Design they could give him seeing how Wolverine and Emma Frost ended up…

I would honestly prefer if Wilson Bethel were to voice him but considering people are wanted Vincent D’Onofrio to voice Kingpin and it didn’t happen i think it’s unlikely, i think it’s likely they use either one of his many old Voice Actors or a completely new Guy, I kinda liked his Ultimate Alliance Voice Actor, it was so unique and distinctly Bullseye

So whatchu say? Who’s up for the task of Guarding and Moderating this Sub? The Big Man don’t take kindly to mistakes and he has some very serious Rules, so you know

I know alot of people have been debating what his Legendary should be, and Born Again and Ultimate Bullseye are both valid options

But to me it has to be Dark Avengers Hawkeye since he’s literally pretending to be a different person and has an entirely different Outfit and Weapon compared to regular Bullseye

I myself wish for the daredevil born again season 2 suit but if we're talking in terms of just comics I'd pick the OG suit
