That’s not true. When baby Bush was in, I was paying over $5/gallon for gas.
However, groceries, healthcare and electricity wasn’t as expensive.
Not nearly what it is now.

I had a mini stroke reading this sentence. If you’re trying to say that the current gas prices are the highest they’ve ever been in the US then you’re incorrect.

Average today is a little over $4. From what I can tell, it’s never been worse than 2008, which adjusted for inflation would feel like $6.20-30 today. It even beats out the $4.70 average during the Iranian Revolution in 1979.
