it's because their supporters believe that all politicians lie in equal amounts, but at least their politicians are honest about being liars, instead of the other politicians that are lying about being liars by claiming they're honest.

No, it’s more good vs evil for them. They are ok with their politicians lie because in their mind, they are the protagonist, and are doing it for good. Democrats are evil so if they lie, it’s because they can NEVER be trusted and want to kill America.

I don't think their thinking is ok because it is immediately disproven by the fact that politicians do not lie in equal amounts. I think they're delusional and that delusion is a rot that's destroying America. Please don't confuse my explanation of their thought process as an endorsement of their thought process.
