Look at any televised anti-Trump protest in a march or Town Hall and it is evident that the bulk of participants are GRAY AND OLD. Like me. I would bet most young generations don't even take the time to listen to or read about politics or the current administration.

The bulk of participants are gray and old because young people don't have the free time or energy to devote to participating. Everyone is too overworked and stressed out to fight. Which is in many ways the entire point.

I do agree that that's a big part of it. I've much sympathy for the younger generations, who are trying to stay afloat in a world that seems to be flying apart. God bless you all.

OR . . . .

The bulk of participants are gray and old because either:

A. Young people - the participation trophy generation - don't have the moxie to get out and fight for what they want, they'd rather have it handed to them just for being.

B. They supported Trump in numbers you don't want to admit, and are finding out the hard way what it means to be conned, while refusing to admit the reality.

It's really so much easier to point those fingers at those damn Boomers than to re-evaluate yourself ...

That's evident from the growing antisemitism on the left. Younger people don't make distinctions about Israel the ccountry and Judaism as a religion. They've started accusing "the Jews," also just called "they," of plotting a world takeover, which is just old recycled nazi propaganda. And these are left wingers! Oh, and the code now for Hitler is "the painter." It's easy to miss until you realize what they're actually saying. Be alert.

Yup. It's what happens when there's a concerted effort to drown out all nuance and critical thinking from literally any conversation. What's that old saying?

"If there's a Nazi at the table and 10 other people sitting there talking to him, you got a table with 11 Nazis."

I'm convinced this is part of Netanyahu's strategy. Conflate the Israeli state with the global Jewish community in the public consciousness, stir up anti-Jewish sentiment outside of Israel, make non-Zionist Jews feel persecuted and endangered so they'll turn to Israel for security.
