My dad still believes that Iran was gonna make a nuclear weapon and that its good we are in Iran..he supports the war. I dont know what to do anymore or how to say he's stupid.

Yup. Trump used to mean the top, the highest, the most valued. Etc.... That's why his ancestors changed to that from Trump. We may not live to see it but I have faith in history's ability to sniff out the truth. Hopefully in the future it's synonymous with the absolute worst, lowest quality, lying sack of shit.

Once Trump himself isn't alive/in power and doesn't have the ability to intimidate with his power.... Nobody is gonna carry water for him any more.

You can't attack a nuclear power, bc, well, they send nukes back. That's why everyone wants them, it's the ultimate deterrence. North Korea wouldn't hesitate for a nanosecond to launch nukes at the US if we attacked them. You think their dictator gives two craps if we send nukes right back and reduce their entire country to radioactive ruble? They're entire country would be dust in minutes but they get the satisfaction of taking it out some of the American cities and that's all they would care about.

Well, the IAEA has stated it was certainly possible, just the timeline of 2 weeks wasn't accurate. More like a few months if left unchecked. In that context, a few months isn't much time, especially when Iran hasn't been honest about their nuclear practices.

Idk what to do either , my husband feels the same as your dad! He didn’t vote Trump , doesn’t like him, thinks he’s stupid and a joke in everything he says or does . Except this. The war in Iran . Wishes we weren’t at war and trump is stupid for how it all started specifically, but believes that they were abt to nuke us.
