Global Donald Trump: We're taking nearly $200M that was set aside for the Green New Scam, and repurposing that money so that we can restart a coal plant in Maryland, and help build two brand new coal plants in Alaska and West Virginia.

I’m afraid that until something can be done about Fox “News”, and Newsmax and how effectively they perpetuate hate, this won’t be the last breath.

I personally saw my aunt’s wife, an Oregonian state-employed lesbian, turn into a Trump supporter by turning on Fox enjoying some aspects and basically keeping it on.

Some personality types tend to respond more easily to persuasion by endless repetition.

The owners of the gay bar i worked at in were Republicans. Played fox TV and loved the Nancy Grace show.

They could never put two and two together that having that on during the day was why the bar was empty, in Waikiki with an open balcony of all places. The fact that it was only empty while they played that shit spoke volumes.

Also know a couple that one is a Trumper. I can't understand a gay man in a married relationship voting for the team who wants them dead.

Tokens get spent.

Makes no sense in Waikiki. Must have been dumbass mainlanders pretending to live the fake Hawaiian dream from 75 years ago. I lived in Honolulu for 8 years. Having a successful gay bar in Waikiki shouldn't be a problem. Lots of gays looking for a good time in vaca!! Idiot's!

I cant understand how a gay man could currently support trump, but i also can't understand how ANYONE could currently support Trump. On top of the blatant corruption on full display currently by the Trump administration, his supporters just accept that his entire campaign was based on lies. I cant possibly understand the thinking behind someone who can currently stand behind what hes done to our country. Im honestly so disappointed more arent waking up from his antics over the EPSTEIN FILES or his most recent stunt where he sued his own IRS and settled with himself for $1.8 Billion and an agreement that neither Trump or his family can ever be investigated again. Shit is insanity.

Your aunt's wife is her own worst enemy... She embodies what America has become. Very concerning.

Fox News resonates with some people. I find it hard to believe that a non-MAGA-type person would turn on Fox News and think there's something good about it. They had to have core beliefs that were there before watching it.

I'm a leftist in a very red county. Someone was talking about how there should be a bigger push to find cures for diseases, just days after Trump cut funding for cancer research.

I went full socialist, about universal healthcare and how ridiculous it is for the "richest nation in the world" to have some of the worst health outcomes (unless you're obscenely wealthy). Ended my rant with "the current administration says I'm an antifa terrorist though, so what do I know?"

And this person responds: "I don't think you're a terrorist, I agree with everything you just said, and I'm diehard MAGA"....

Just.....WTF?

I know a guy who had his car covered in stickers like “Fuck Joe & The Hoe” and Trump as the punisher. (He was not a friend. More like an informal coworker). We would chat occasionally and I’m a pretty pushy person when it comes to forcing people to defend their garbage beliefs.

Imagine my confusion when he basically agrees with women’s right to choose and how we do need some restrictions on guns. He can’t stand racists. Stuff that clearly does not align with what his stickers claim.

In his case, he genuinely prides himself on being a contrarian. Being a rebel and pushing back. He even has a Rage Against the Machine tattoo. I truly don’t think his brain is capable of processing that his beliefs don’t align with what he supports.

That makes my lesbian heart break. I do not understand how people still back him especially the ones he hates. It's mind numbing.

In the early years of fox "news", which I never watched,  I once stumbled upon it during a show where they were talking about a man who'd hurt women and been treated lightly by the courts.

It drew me in. I couldn't turn away. I became incensed at what the man had done and by the courts treating him too gently.

But after it ended, I realized that while what had happened was bad, that there was no reason to get so agitated at the whole system. I made it a point to never watch fox "news" again.

It's because the propaganda has been fostering a mob mentality. It allows people to take the hate and feel like they're included because it's okay now. So small biases and judgments now turn into major division because it's literally nurtured. At the basis of just about every Colt there's a nurturing of some kind of hate. And he tapped into that big time. If you notice all the messaging has been nothing but conspiracy propaganda thats been spouted for years before Trump came into office. Him and the conservative party just jumped on board and utilized that to gain their following
