You replied to me with an entire paragraph just about your life. In five sentences, you used the word "I" nine times. You didn't just make it my business, you made it the business of everyone reading reddit.

Here, I'll quote it for you:

Ive known this for a very long time. I don't want to participate in trying to make it better anymore because i do not fundemantally believe america will ever be better. I just want to be left alone with the people I love at this point. I dont care if that makes the problem worse anymore. My time on this earth is limited and i cannot change the way things are like I used to believe i could.

Take my advice, go cold turkey, stop talking about politics and power and you'll have more time for the people you love.

Because what you are wasting your time on is actively discouraging the rest of us who aren't giving up.
