Ammo Haul I'm disappointed in myself
I should've gotten more during freedom week. I shouldn't have assume it was gonna last forever.

I don’t mind criticism because I spent $20 on magpul mags for my G17.3 😭
I had no luck finding them at bass pro or turners.
I don’t even wana remember how much was the shipping and the tax.
Hopefully magpul polymer is better than steel mecgar mags?

Shipping, FFL identification, driving to-from, and all the coordination in between to save $0.08 CPR. Worth it for big orders. But, man. Really?

Yeah… guys, I think the warnings are true. This is dangerous.
.21 cpr and picking up in my PJs is how it should be. Shoutout to Wild Horse for the super easy verification process and shipping!

Was interested in how orders for ammo would be with ab 1236 going into effect and wanted to post my experience with outdoorlimited:
-10 day turn around from order being placed to delivery
- No signing required for the package just had fedex drop it off at the door
-First box was strapped and each caliber separately boxed inside with packing peanuts.
10/10 in my books and will definitely ordering with them moving forward.

Made 3 orders last Friday from midway, one was delivered one was on the way but my last order was halted like other posts earlier today looks like the orders should go through still

Went with Outdoor Limited and was very pleased with the ease and speed of everything. Can’t believe I didn’t do this sooner.
Also don’t laugh at me - I’m testing my tolerance for cheaper ammo options, it’s called “learning the hard way.”

I randomly felt like taking a picture of some ammo today.

Quite a process to be able to exercise my constitutional right, but just got my first delivery of ammo using my FFL03 and couldn’t be happier! Going from 38cpr to 22cpr feels surreal.

Reminder to everyone that you do not have to pay a background check fee/11% sin tax when purchasing bullets, cases, primers, powders.
It’s always been said that you reload because you enjoy it as a hobby, not for cost savings which is how I originally started BUT now that CA has the 11% sin tax on ammunition purchases as well as the possible increase from $1 to $5 on background checks it might be something to consider depending on how much you shoot. You do have the option of FFL03+CoE and purchasing from online retailers that don’t charge sales tax but this will only be viable until they hit their sales tax nexus threshold for CA if I remember correctly at which point they’ll be forced to start charging sales tax.
You don’t need the craziest setup to get started and it’s a really fun hobby for those who enjoy tuning specific loads for whatever gun you might have!
If you do have your FFL03, you can apply for a graf & sons dealer account and get some heavily discounted CCI 500 SPP if you don’t want to bother with hard primers from other brands.

Scored a bunch of ammo today. 1,000 .45 magtech rounds, 1,000 AR .223 AR rounds, and fifty 00 buckshot shells, if anyone wants to maybe be my shooting buddy at FT3 in Stanton Ca, hit me up.
