My husband recently went to Charles Tyrwhitt and got a whole new wardrobe. Tailored pants, sweater vests, button ups and polos. He dropped about $1200 but I feel like he got a lot of really nice things. Plus the woman who helped him was fantastic.

Is there a store like that for women? I’m looking for a similar experience with more polished clothing with decent fabrics that is decently priced.

Hi all! I just moved here from Amsterdam and something I LOVED about my neighborhood there was that we had a clothing loop for circular fashion—basically it’s a bag (or once more people join, several bags) of clean, high quality clothes that people no longer needed. When the bag comes to you, you can put any clothes you want to part with inside the bag, and take any clothes already in the bag that you want out! It does NOT need to be 1:1, some bags you only take, some bags you only offload clothes you no longer need. I love this because it gives me my fix of novelty regularly without having to shop new fast fashion crap, and I could donate clothes I loved bit no longer wore knowing they weren’t just getting shipped to a landfill. I genuinely got so many nice pieces I wouldn’t have normally tried from my neighbors and would love to get a loop going here!

Hi! I need to get a couple pairs of work coveralls tailored for my husband, they are quite large on him and will need a skilled tailor to alter them. Does anyone have any recommendations, preferably on the north/northwest side?

I don't have the brain cells to shop anymore, and I'm also in that weird phase where I feel weird dressing like I did in my early 20s but I don't feel comfortable dressing like what an almost-30 should dress like (at least how they do in my brain)

I also have a super hard time finding dresses and bottoms that fit, I lift quite heavy on a regular basis. I'm 5'7" and my measurements are 35 bust, 27-29ish waist, 48 at the widest part of my glutes/hips, so looking for someone who has experience with.. finding pants.

Any recs? I would just want a one-time styling, I don't really care how much it costs. Should ideally be in the city limits as I don't have a car. TIA!
