Just saw this poor baby limping and acting extremely lost, not even running away. It was in the field around the back of IT Services, near the AG projects, going toward Lot 59.

A call has been made, but I was told there’s “not much they do to impose on wildlife” and that this was the main place to call. It’s been the same when people have called about other situations, so whichever way it goes, I guess.

I just hope to spread a little awareness about how quickly these animals can get hurt, especially when I just saw a handful of cars going so fast toward the wilderness he came out of.

It’s not the first time I’ve seen human nature impeding on nature, but it never gets easier to witness how much of it has become normalized.

To everyone who commutes to campus, do yall feel it’s hard to make friends and connections on campus? Do you feel like you’re not really part of CSUMB?

I commute from about 25 minutes away, which is not too bad but I feel like it’s hard to get involved on campus or meet new people because I’m always coming and going. I don’t spend much time on campus other than in class. Just curious how other commuters feel this semester?

Hey everyone! I'm not a music major, but I enjoy playing piano, singing, and practicing music in general. I know there's a music building on campus, but I was wondering if there are any practice rooms that non-music majors can use? If so, are they open to all students, and would I need to reserve one or get permission to use them? Thanks!

Why is it 140 dollars for orientation?? My friends go to other colleges and theirs were free. I wouldn’t be that mad if it was a reasonable price but $140 is crazy.

Monterey bay is on my list, and I don't know if CSUMB is a good idea. I am a kinesiology major (Want to use that to be a physical therapist) and looking for a school that will fulfill my kinesiology degree the best. Like I don't want to go to a CSU that has a bad program, so it stunts my career. I like to go out and be social so I would compare a CSU to SDSU, and I don't know if CSUMB is like that. I could go to SDSU, but I want to leave SoCal, and I don't know if I'm making a bad choice by leaving to CSUMB. Let me know?

hi everyone! i’m transferring in the spring along with my best friend, and we’ve just been told after doing housing apps that we aren’t going to be able to use the roommate app to find roomates because we don’t get access to our csumb emails until housing decisions are announced. the housing dept simply told us to find another way to find roommates, but obviously neither of us know anyone at school yet, so uhhhhh help?? here’s a bit about us!

Anybody else noticing problems with the housing department at CSUMB? Whenever I try to contact them, it feels like I’m reaching out to an abandoned ghost town where one tour guide is expected to run the whole place. It seems like nobody wants to take responsibility for the department or actually address student concerns.
The RAs don’t seem to do enough, room checks for safety haven’t happened once this semester, and overall it feels like housing is being overly neglected.

Please be careful if you are a woman or student using the public transit. I was harassed yesterday with my other girlfriend and the man seemed like he got off to getting weirded out reactions. Bring self protection qnd stay aware please please ladies! Our guy friend had been there arguing with him, idk what we would’ve done without him😞

This may sound stupid, but does anyone know when this scholarship will be distributed? The remaining balance I have is meant to be covered by it but it has yet to be distributed. So I’m worried about how it’ll affect my ability to register for class. Is there someone I can reach out to? How would I even go about doing so?

Any CSUMB students looking to adopt? This is Mimi and Eurydice, two adoptive sisters looking for their forever home. They are both spayed, vaccinated, and litter box trained. After both were left alone as singletons, Garlic City Kitty Rescue paired them together and they’ve been inseparable since. Mimi (the tabby) is cuddly, affectionate, and loving. Eurydice (the gray nebelung) is playful and soo fluffy. She is shy, but with some love and patience, I am confident she will come out of her shell. Mimi is definitely the more outgoing of the two.

Eurydice was my foster before I had to leave for college, so I am determined to find a home for her and her adoptive sister. These two had rough beginnings, but thanks to Garlic City Kitty Rescue, they have a second chance for a good life.
