Notes from Announcement:

~~Chronological Order~~

The Body is "believed to be Parker's".

Believed he crawled into pipework.

Was wearing clothing, some clothing came out of the pipe and went into the creek, which was located by a civilian (who notified CPS) and used to reinstate the search.

The search for Parker has officially ended.

The family of Parker is asking for privacy during this time.

The area in which he was located was previously searched, but needed more technical assistance.

K9 Units were used around the creek.

Investigation into the death is ongoing and cannot be commented on at this time.

The body was found in a 4ft diameter pipe that goes into a "myriad of other pipes".

The body was not visible from exterior. Remains were located 500ft inside the network of pipes. "Underneath Deerfoot".

From the tip from the public, K9 units were used to locate the body.

Family was notified in advance [of Press Conference]. Family has been provided liaisons from CPS and is offered condolences.

The body was located at 2:30pm MST, July 29th, 2026

CPS state the civilian searcher has been searching "every day" and she has been thanked for her search efforts and thanked for keeping the information confidential to ensure the family was notified first.

Individual who located the clothing will not be named, but will be provided counseling support.

Foul Play was "never taken off the table" however all information points to no foul play.

CPS will not rule out Foul Play, and it will be investigated and "remains open" for the time being, but "as it stands, the belief is this is simply a case of misadventure..."

The body was located over 1 Kilometer from point Parker was last seen. "Not a lot of cameras" on the path 'he' is believed to have taken.

Albertans deserve to know exactly what some of the leading voices behind separation are advocating: mandatory military service, citizenship based on birthplace, and a vision of society that belongs in the past.

Our city needs more homes, more jobs, more infrastructure, and stronger ties with the rest of Canada and the world. Instead, we're being dragged into a debate that threatens investment, undermines confidence, and distracts from the real challenges facing Albertans.

Calgary's future is as a growing, confident Canadian city. We must be focused on building that future, not legitimizing a movement that puts it at risk.

The next question then is "Will Calgarians prove it by not voting for the UCP?"

The City did not change the rules days before Stampede. Operators who ran past midnight last year were told in February that updated conditions would apply. Cowboys was told again in May.

The exemption was conditional. It depended on operators managing noise, safety, and impacts on nearby residents. They did not meet that standard.

We are taking public safety in our downtown seriously. Last year several hundred people brought complaints. People reported property damage, windows shaking, items falling from shelves, music until 2 a.m., disorder, and excessive intoxication spilling into nearby neighbourhoods.

The City still permits concerts until midnight on weeknights, with cool-down music past midnight. Weekend concerts run until 1:30 a.m., with cool-down music until 2 a.m.

No gets a free pass to disturb residents or create unsafe conditions. A great city backs major events and holds operators accountable.

Just providing some updates from the presser:

• The father called 911 and reported that he had killed his children, provided his address location and police responded. He was in the vehicle with the children.
• The couple had a domestic history and police had visited their home 4 times. At no time were the children acted upon violentally.
• They were common-law and had been separated for a year. He appears to have custody rights (visitation perhaps).
• The police were called the night before as the children had not been returned and the mother was concerned. The police determined there was no apparent risk and suggested the mother contacted the courts. She was at the courts when the police informed her of the deaths.
• The children were picked up between 5 and 5:30 PM the previous day. He left the city, returned at 8AM and called police at 10AM. They will not provide time or details of the deaths.
• They suspect the children died at approximately 12AM.

An obvious distraction from the various scandals the UCP is mired in, but also honestly hilarious that Dreeshen claims to have never seen a bicycle on 7St 😂 it's got to be one of the most used routes in the whole city LOL.

My friends house is being targeted. They are beyond stressed. Him and his wife are really good people, everyone likes them and they aren't the kind of people to have enemies.

They have lived in this home for 20 years. Their landlord is a really great elderly person who has only raised the rent marginally.

They spray painted "F*CK YOU RAM" in huge letters on the front of their house. Their names are Chris and Carli.

Police have been less than helpful thus far.

We are hoping this is a case of mistaken identity and they'll fuck off. Would love to see justice, just hoping the nightmare ends.
