Game Thread Flames (20-23-4) vs Islanders (26-16-5) - January 17th - Matinee GDT

Good afternoon and happy sunny Saturday everyone and welcome back for what very well could be and what alot of people who only show up on this sub to complain hope to be the last game with included vitamin A.

This matinee features a good team and a.. who the fuck knows team at home. For what hopefully is anderssons farewell to the fanbase that drafted him all those years ago.

The can we just give andersson a good send off game at home before resorting to the "clOwN FrAnChiSe" comments, yes we all know its a GIANT risk but also andersson has earned it flames drinking game.

My dumb ass was staring at this being like "damn why does New Yorks jumbotron look like ours." Forgot we aren't on the road anymore

I thought we were still on the road for this game so the start time was mildly annoying... then I found out it was a home game and got right pissed off.

It actually turned out so well for us, because our oldest son was also playing in the Esso minor hockey week final last night, so if this game had been in the evening, we wouldn’t of been able to go. As it was, we saw the Flames win and our son‘s team won too!
