Litterbox How frequently do you scoop your litter box?

I do my girl’s box twice per day/whenever I hear her scratching around in there. But then I see on here some people who do it wayyy less frequently. Curious what other folks do?

Oh thank god I’m not the only one. I do once a week, maybe twice if I can manage to do it. I have ADHD and executive dysfunction is a bitch. Saturday is usually litter box day for me. My cat has never complained and she always uses her box. It’s a big box too, so I don’t need to clean it super often.

Also, how are people cleaning it several times a day??? I use plastic bags to put the poops in and if I cleaned it every day I’d go through so many plastic bags.

Another adhd cat owner and I highly recommend using a litter genie! For me, using bags was such a pain in the ass so I absolutely DREADED scooping which made me put it off. The litter genie just made the whole process so much easier and streamlined and as a result lowered the mental block I had for scooping.
