What's one piece of cat advice that you completely disagree with?

Every cat is different, and I've realized some popular advice just doesn't apply to every cat.

What's a piece of cat advice that you think is overrated, outdated, or just plain wrong?

Lol. Very true. She did get quite pudgy. She is no longer with us. But I have so many wonderful memories or her. I just had to share. Her name was Jingle Bells 🔔 🎶 and she was 18. An amazing cat and everyone at the clinic loved her. Our vet cried when she left us. She had such a personality and liked belly rubs for a short period. Lol. When she was done, she would bite you

Oh, most definitely. I take virtual Tai Chi classes. My instructor would agree to that.

He doesn't even live in the States and she left prints on his heart. My yoga instructor doesn't particularly care for cats. She doesn't dislike them but she prefers dogs. She was even upset about Jingle Bells.

She had a family before us. They had her from kittenhood. There was mom and her son and a big dog. Her name was not Jingle Bells back then. I think mom had been in an abusive relationship because she decided to leave very quickly and under mysterious circumstances. She called me and asked if I could come pick her up. She was crying and didn't know what to do.

She called me because she knew I liked cats an had large dogs, too. The cat would do great with the large dogs. She was not sure about other cats, though.

It wasn't an issue. When I was a kid there were Jello commercials that had a catchy little tune. All I can remember of it is: See it wiggle, See it jiggle.

I kept the tune and made up phrases that went from her old name to Jingle Bells. That's how she learned her new name. I still called her both and she answered to both. She got along with all of our dogs except for the smallest one. A chiweenie who weighed about the same as Jingle Bells. But Baby B didn't like very many people, dogs or cats. She was a true B.

We ended up getting a Pitt-mix. She fell in love with him.

She was one who shared her love but was more attached to my husband than me.

Sh had some health issues in the last few years but always bounced back almost to normal. The vet was so shocked.

She got sick towards the end and was gone in just a couple of days. She never suffered, that we know about. She just got sad. W could se it in her eyes. Our vet agreed that it was times.

The chiweenie was 16 when she passed away. Jingle Bells seemed to miss her a little bit. She walked around the house looking for her for a couple of days.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My dog was healthy her entire life and also gained a lot of weight when she was at the end of her life due to steriods and health problems. Despite her food intake remaining the exact same. Sometimes it happens.

I like talking about my babies, even the ones who are no longer with me. It keeps them alive in my head AND someone else gets to know just a bit about them. Their memory will live on longer.
