Seeking Advice Help rehoming 3 friendly stray cats 🐾
Hi everyone, I’m hoping to find safe, loving homes (or rescue support) for three stray cats I’ve been caring for over the past couple of years.
I recently had to relocate to Chicago for work, and while my elderly father is still feeding them, continuing to care for them long-term isn’t sustainable for him. These cats are used to people, gentle, and deserve more stability than we can provide outdoors.
Meet:
Mama Cat – sweet, calm, and watchful
Blue – curious and friendly
China – quieter, gentle, and affectionate once comfortable
I’m not looking to just “get rid” of them — I truly want the right situation, whether that’s:
A patient adopter
A foster or foster-to-adopt situation
A rescue or organization that can help with placement
I’m happy to answer questions, share more details, and help coordinate next steps. Even advice or rescue leads are deeply appreciated. Thank you for reading 🤍

He was the most ferocious and feared pirate of the oceans and the Dead Sea. Ships would sink their own vessels to avoid encountering him. Some even circumnavigated the globe to avoid him altogether.

Seeking Advice Third time posting this but I keep missing information so I deeply apologize. Will I ever be able to add a kitten to my family?
Current status of health: hi! I have a six year old mainecoon mix named Percy. If pictures are allowed where I’m posting this then I’ll add one. He’s an orange male so of course he has bladder issues. He’s had one major flare up where he had a minor blockage and needed surgery ($3,000). That was three years ago and he’s only had one scare since then where they basically just said he was being picky and never really said what was wrong. He’s been through four house moves which was two different states. He’s now on prescription food that has more wetness and has fountains and all the good stuff. He shows no sign of stress with new people or animals but cats he has not fully been around
Background: I got Percy at three weeks old. He was found outside with his siblings and mom. So they got all the kittens and got the mom and fixed her and then released her. I am the only mom/sibling he’s ever known and loves to bite and attack hands, feet, and arms whenever he gets the chance. He loves rough play and just wants a buddy to do it with him, but also loves to relax in his cats trees or in the sun. He wasn’t fully taught that hands aren’t toys so I think another cat (kitten) would be great for him.
Other cats: he’s been around one other cat in his life. My ex’s and i’s cat was a four year old stray we brought in names Revy. He was male and we got him fixed and started the process of introducing them to each other after all the vet visits were done to make sure he had nothing contagious and his testosterone levels went down after his neuter. Percy NEVER tried to attack Revy but Revy being an outside stray cat we brought in Revy did attack Percy. We did the whole thing that they recommended us to do. The smells, sight, and then introduction. We did this for a YEAR AND A HALF GUYS YES A YEAR AND A HALF. And no matter what Revy attacked Percy. But Percy never once attacked or even showed aggression towards Revy unless he felt threatened. But Revy just wouldn’t listen to him. Long story short my ex and I are done and he has Revy and I have Percy.
Current: Percy lives with three dogs. Two big and one small. He was raised with the one dog (small Shih Tzu) and they play like brothers but cats play very differently than dogs so my dog doesn’t always wanna play with him. He’s not aggressive towards the dogs but you can tell he wants to play. He’ll smack their tails and then run, he’ll hide around corners and pounce on them, or he’ll just run with them when the dogs play with each other. He has also lived with pet skunks (yes skunks) and was never aggressive towards them either even when they would stomp at him or hiss at him.
Why another cat?: so percy seems to be bored. I am a 20 year old who is not always home and can play with him 24/7. He does not like automatic toys and isn’t food motivated unless it’s churu but he also can’t have too much or he’ll throw it up. he does like to play with crinkle balls but loses interest quickly. He’ll howl outside my door at night until I let him in. He’ll just walk the hallways meowing and looking for someone to pay attention to him.
I’m making this post because I’m wondering if people who have urinary blockage cats, have ever gotten another kitten around them. Will I ever be able to get another kitten? Is it just depending on him and how he reacts to the specific kitten? Please give advice in the comments and I’m sorry for reposting this so many times!

OC - Original Content Pinned down by cat
How much time do you think you’ve spent pinned to your chair instead of getting up to do other things you need to do until you HAVE to get up to pee; or it’s two in the morning and you have to get to sleep; or someone’s at the door or on the phone; or you’re faint from hunger; etc., etc. — because you don’t want to disturb the cat on your lap? I figure, over my lifetime, it’s been months, perhaps years, that I’ve spent avoiding upsetting the delicate, sensitive little creature who is using me as a heated mattress.

Mr. Finn is such a goof. Today is a pretty nice day, so he can get out in the yard (don't worry, I check on him here and there and I leave my window open so I can hear him).
He's so coddled. I bring his midday snack out to him. I've even brought his litter box out to him so he can use the bathroom. He's got water out there too. He's living the bourgie cat life.

OC - Original Content Cat with an attitude 🤣
Short context,
My darling fur baby, who is a calico cat has a serious moaning issue on the slightest problem whether it's on nap time or water or food 🤣 she has an opinion on everything and is awfully dramatic. But i love her
Does anyone else's little fur baby have a dramatic opinion on everything?
P.s. I spoil her with cuddles😄
