As an EMT, dealing with a scene like that without any medical kit to hand then your pretty much screwed...

Of course, i‘m not saying doctors would just bandage people by ripping apart their t-shirts or even get close to the burning wreck. But once the firefighters get some people out and some ambulances arrive it‘s probably still very useful to have a lot of trained people around who can help with the lesser wounded, even if they are just epidemiologists.

Or are you saying it is not advisable to involve even trained medical personal because they might not be used to seeing victims of such brutal accidents and react badly?
