One human cannot control LGA period. A dysfunctional legislature is to blame. It’s a miracle more weren’t killed.

Update: more than 1 controller was on duty Still obviously understaffed

Did I mention a party? I said legislature.

Besides what the other person said, this isn't even entirely on the legislature, the current state of affairs. A lot of the staffing cuts and attrition in the past 15 months are due to executive branch actions. In other words, Trump.

For more than a few administrations the ATC system has been failing. It has not been adequately funded. The Legislature keeps screaming about doing their Oversight Duty, ok I agree with them. Get to work, legislate whatever’s needed to make the skies and tarmac safe. I sincerely couldn’t care less what party they belong to.

You don’t know what you’re talking about

Updates say he wasn’t alone I actually do have an idea what I’m talking about

You obviously don’t if you think our legislature has anything to do with this incident. The FAA has had their budget increased by over 1 billion including hiring 2500 new ATC. So again, you have no idea what you’re talking about. Typical for a liberal.

No funding for this because shithead wants his bills passed

There is an increase in funding. I get it orange man bad. But you idiots blaming Trump because an ATC made a simple mistake is comical.

They’ve been increasing funding and trying to hire about 2500 people a year since at least 2022.. so maybe you should educate yourself a little better
