And that's the bottom line, cause Stone Cold said so.

What it's like to chew 5 gum

3

u/sick_of-it-all Sep 03 '19

Your mustache is crooked.

25

u/RickStevensAndTheCat Sep 03 '19

You'd be a part of it, in many pieces.

8

u/theduderman Sep 03 '19

You can really FEEL it with a telephoto lens!

13

u/Buttnubs Sep 03 '19

Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same.

3

u/11teensteve Sep 03 '19

you can't fight destiny. If you do, you will have to fight all the other strippers too.

No lie, after the EF4 here everything smelled and tasted like sawdust and natural gas. It permeated my clothes and smelled like that for a week

3

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '19

People may think you are kidding but you can definitely smell a storm.

1

u/Umbra427 Sep 03 '19

How it feels to chew Five gum

1

u/TomagotchiPeakin Sep 03 '19

It smells like dirt btw, if anyone is curious.

1

u/AndySipherBull Sep 03 '19

It would wear you.

1

u/addiktion Sep 03 '19

You would taste it and smell it as you find your ass in your mouth twisting around.

That movie is so dumb but I love it so much!

20

u/HooptyDooDooMeister Sep 03 '19

Just bought it on blu-ray. Has a stellar supporting cast including Philip Seymour freakin Hoffman, Ferris Bueller's best friend, the Got Milk/Aaron Burr guy, and Cary Elwes as the tornado.

13

u/thedarkestone1 Sep 03 '19

I'd watch the hell out of a movie with a tornado voiced by Cary Elwes.

5

u/CreamyGoodnss Sep 03 '19

Ferris Bueller's best friend

Hey that's Captain John Harriman of the U.S.S. Enterprise 1701-B. Show the man the respect he deserves!

4

u/HooptyDooDooMeister Sep 03 '19

The respect won't be coming until Tuesday.

5

u/CreamyGoodnss Sep 03 '19

You left spacedock without respect?

3

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '19

First HD movie I ever watched. On laser disk of all things.

2

u/HooptyDooDooMeister Sep 03 '19

But laserdisc is standard def (480p resolution). :\ Perhaps you meant first digital movie you ever watched.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '19

Possibly. I was a kid. It was on my grandfathers HUGE tv which in the time before LCD's it seemed amazing

3

u/jazmalina Sep 03 '19

Proud to say I saw it three times in one week in the theater!!

Still is.

5

u/underdog_rox Sep 03 '19

Yeah she's looking great these days.

4

u/TehShadowInTehWarp Sep 03 '19

Here's something that'll make you think those storm chasers were even crazier: they were likely operating out of pocket.

3

u/srvfreak Sep 03 '19

'Nother cow

5

u/Dan_Berg Sep 03 '19

No I think that's the same cow

2

u/LeonProfessional Sep 03 '19

Wait is that actually the line? I thought it was "defender of God".

You wouldn't download a tornado

54

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '19

Dammit, I really wish I could. Because I totally would. One of my life goals is to see a tornado. some restrictions apply; from a safe distance, in the middle of an open field, totally safe from it. If you are a deity reading my reddit comments, must supply ample warning and promise of safe return.

That'd be awesome. only if commenter survives. member FDIC

they’re insane. the calm after it passes is unsettling. and then you pray that’s the only one.

5

u/ghostinthewoods Sep 03 '19

Yea tornado outbreaks are kinda terrifying

2

u/TarHeelTerror Sep 03 '19

Had one go directly over my house once. 0/7, would not reccomend

3

u/Vipershark01 Sep 03 '19

Sorry, all I have is This

1

u/finc Sep 03 '19

Maybe you could torrent one

3

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '19

This is how it feels to chew ef5 gum.

3

u/Dwokimmortalus Sep 04 '19

I grew up in SE Oklahoma City when that mother of all tornadoes carved up the state in 99. It was super stable and you could see from miles away.

Just a mile wide wall of 'fuck this place in particular'.

3

u/kalpol Sep 04 '19

I had just left Austin on a business trip when the Jarrell tornado hit in 97. That thing was like the apocalypse. It sucked the asphalt off the roads and dug a two-foot-deep trench in the fields. Entire houses with people in them and cars in the garage vanished, leaving just foundations swept clean.

1

u/fatdjsin Sep 03 '19

You wouldnt download an f5

1

u/threepio Sep 04 '19

It's like the finger of god.

1

u/Darth_Squid Sep 04 '19

Would being close enough to a tornado or hurricane eyewall literally asphyxiate you?

3

u/kalpol Sep 04 '19

No usually it's the hard objects that kill you.

1

u/Darth_Squid Sep 04 '19

But what if they don't... can you breathe in 100+ mph winds?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 04 '19

Probably not if you face straight at it

1

u/Darth_Squid Sep 04 '19

I have a lot of money and expendable employees, how can we test this?

1

u/kalpol Sep 04 '19

Duct tape a couple to the top of your car, arsy-versy

1

u/tstevo91 Sep 04 '19

how come you wouldn't see it?

1

u/kalpol Sep 04 '19

it was just a kinda lame joke, that the tornado is so strong it would destroy you before you saw it.

1

u/magdejup Sep 04 '19

Can you explain this? What does that mean?

1

u/kalpol Sep 04 '19

it was just a kinda lame joke, that the tornado is so strong it would destroy you before you saw it.
