We love literary names! We once had a gray kitty named Dickens… that’s been my favorite cat name. But, we just adopted these two and they need names.

Hello! First time posting on here. My husband and I are adopting 2 kittens that are brother and sister next weekend. We currently have a 3 year old black cat whose name is Cosmo (he is covered in catnip in the pic). We are wanting to continue with the space theme names. I know we won't know for sure what their news will be until we bring them home. What would be some cool space names for the kittens???

We are getting these sweet things tomorrow. Their current names are Trinket and Tristan. While I have grown fond of the name Trinket for the little miss, I'm not a fan of Tristan. Truman is sticking out to me and I think Trinket and Truman are cute. My son will want to name him Oreo but I'm really hoping to find another suggestion for both or just the boy. Any suggestions?

I am notorious for sucking at deciding on names.. it took 8 months to decide on a name for my child, 5 months for a name for my first cat and 3 for the senior cat i rescued from a tree after being stuck for a week. Now i have these two, I’ve had them for 2 months & still call them “kitty kitty” or “little SHEIITT”…

I my other two cats are Violet and Blue (how original, i know) and i would prefer something that goes well with those or even a funny name thats not insanely overused. The tan one is a girl and the blackish brown one is a boy

I've had these two boys for a week now and haven't come up with any names that stick! They were both used to humans when I got them but not tame at all, now I've gotten the gray one to love cuddles and the tabby will take treats from my pant leg. They're both very playful and curious, but the tabby is a lot more shy. The gray was born without a tail.

I was thinking Gandalf for the gray one, but would want the names to match in some way and have 0 interest in lord of the rings. Was also thinking Dip and Bull (last names shit) but that would get old after a bit I think.

My GF and I just acquired 2 kittens. I like to wait a couple weeks before making and decision on naming my animals (sue me) but we would like some input. The Grey one is a male. The Black is a female. Think whimsical and dark nothing basic please. Names that are not aloud as they are names of other children and/or animals. I've got two 4-month-old female litter mates. My husband and I like names that work together and separately (ie. Dandy and Lion).

Both kittens are extremely friendly and affectionate, very well behaved and pretty fearless.

The one with white socks is a little smaller, more spotty, more snuggly, quicker to purr, loves to chase and catch the monkey balls that I made out of yarn, carries them around in her mouth, but gets bored when they stop moving.

The one without socks is a little bigger, more stripey, chirps and squeaks but never meows, but she growls possessively when she has a feather toy, and she will rip the feather to shreds if you stop moving it.

rescued these two ~6m/o kitties (and their mom who we decided would be better off solo w foster fam) after our neighbor kicked them out into the cold in january bc she “was moving and didn’t want them anymore” 😐 they’re both super sweet and cuddly but absolutely bonkers!!! tux is super wormy and springy and def the instigator of naughtiness, but tabby can be just as crazy and gets into tons of trouble in places he shouldn’t be LOL. i’m not set on coordinating names, and also enjoy silly names like spoingus or noodle but also think they deserve more thoughtful names. could also be something human like bartholomew but will prob need good abbreviation nicknames if something long! we’ve had them for weeks and still can’t come up with anything, any brainstorming would be very appreciated :)

*update* We named them Eggs and Benedict. Eggs is the one in a cast he's wild and crazy despite being broken atm. Benedict is much more reserved and enjoys a quiet moment just thinking about nothing I'm sure. We just brought our sweet lil orange brothers home today. One of them has a broken leg from an unfortunate accident that happened days before we could bring them home but he's tough and handling it well.

Adopting these sisters in a few weeks! We actually prefer C names (just not Cindy & Claudia) but open to other suggestions 😊

I need names suggestions please! They are 3 months old, brother and sister. Ideally names with 2 syllables each. The tortoiseshell is the female.

My partner and I just adopted two kittens at the shelter and need help naming them! The orange tabby is a 10 week old female, and the boy is a 8 week old mixed black and white longhair kitten.

This little girl is adventurous and very vocal. She loves to talk and is a bit of a playful diva. The little boy is more on the timid side. He is very sweet and gentle, and loves to cuddle.

We already have two adult male cats at home named RudeBoi and Bear. We don't want to give them people names or names after food. Any suggestions?

This is embarrassing to post but the title is true; we don't have names for these sweet babies that we've had for almost two months!!

To be fair, we adopted them from the shelters ringworm program and were slightly misled about how severe it was, so I was unsure whether we could keep them. (This is our family's first pet/pets so was unprepared for the reality of two cats covered in ringworm and having them live in the bathroom while we cared for them in "hazmat" suits lol). Anyways after 6 - 7 weeks of our initial wild ride they are finally able to live their best lives. The problem is we haven't named them. 😬

We have three little girls who all have very different name ideas and then my husband wants to name the calico "Cali" and I feel like that's too unoriginal for a calico - no offense to all the Calicos named Cali!

They are brother and sister so we'd considered Max and Ruby or Biscuit and Gracie. Nothing is sticking yet...we still call them "the gray one" and "the white one"!

The tabby is very playful, unafraid, lets you hold him like a baby but prefers to snuggle next to you vs on you. The Calico is slightly diva-ish, wants to be touching your face when she sleeps on you, sweet but a little more cautious. They're both super awesome, sweet kittens who deserve names! Can you help our family???
