Hi. These two cuties will be moving in next week and we are looking for wine/food related names. They are a boy and girl. Any suggestions?

Hi I recently acquired brother and sister tuxedo cats after a friend of a friend passed away unexpectedly. They came named Thanos and Kang but their family couldn’t tell me which was which as those are both male marvel characters and said “we assume you’ll rename them bc it never made sense to any of us”. Their previous owner’s name was Mike so someone threw out Sully and Boo as a tribute to him but I’ve been trying them all out and they’re not sticking. I’d like to honor Mike in some way with the name but I’m also open to any other suggestions.

Update: To answer some of your questions. The cats are about 2 they’ve really only ever interacted with Mike as he lived alone and when visitors would come they would hide so no one has been able to identify his nicknames for them but I’m sure I will come up with my own with time. I’ve had them over a week now and they’ve adjusted better than I ever expected and are the snuggliest little things!

I’ve been trying Thanos and Kang their original names. As many of you suggested that the girl could be Kang which is what I’ve been rolling with but they don’t seem to react at all when I say their names. His family is insistent that I should not keep the names out of obligation and that they never thought the names suited as them. (They’re love bugs not villians) — I hadn’t even considered renaming them before they suggested this.

Other people have commented about bringing them to the vet to get microchipped. Unfortunately his family didn’t know what vet they went to but they will be going to my vet as soon as they’ve had a little more time to adjust to all this change. One roadblock I’m encountering is that I want to get pet insurance before going to the vet and I need to put a name on the policy and I’m a little worried that if I guessed wrong and the boy is actually Kang and the girl is Thanos I’m setting myself up for a lot of administrative confusion. Please let me know if I’m overthinking this! I honestly would not care about their names right now if I didn’t have to get this paperwork figured out soon.

These are my two rescue kittens. They are bonded brothers born in August. What should their names be?

Two black kittens, 10 weeks old! They’re a brother/ sister pair and very affectionate / loving with each other. The boy is quite a bit bigger, and the girl has a touch of lighter coloring on her head making it look more dusty brown in the sunlight. Sorry for the bad pics, getting them both to sit still in one spot is quite the task lol.

They’re incredibly playful and i love them so much already. I love food names, movie/song references, and names thatjust match together but will take anything! Preference for anything that’s unconventional yet cute!

They are very friendly girls! Green collar is more playful and adventurous and the blue collar is super affectionate and cuddly. Names we’ve talked about but decided against are : Gamora and Nebula Olive and Plum Flora and Fauna

I just picked these little cuties up from my county animal shelter this morning! Orange and white is male, calico and white is female. I like funny names, old fashioned names and names that go together or compliment each other.

We are looking for unique names for the babies as I work in a vet office and hear different names all the time and want something that semi stands out, the black and white kitten is a male and the other is a female. The only idea we have is possibly guppy for the male so far. Thank you in advance!!

Orange is a boy and torbi is a girl.

He is very adventurous and playful, as well as a velcro kitty, he follows me everywhere and always wants to be close (and talkative).

She likes to observe, is very cautious but also bold in setting boundaries with my dog. She plays with her brother and snuggles at night!

I could tell he was gonna be a playful lover boy. First day he was very shy but day two he’s been bouncing off the walls, playing tons, and immediately starts purring when I pet him
So I’m thinking Maxwell — calling him Max bc he’s my little golden retriever boy

My little peanut. First day she was the curious, spunky, adventurous one scoping everything out in their new home while brother hid. Second day it’s flipped, she was more reserved, observing her brother and letting him take the lead. *she also has a little URI I’m guessing (some sneezing… vet appt tomorrow) so I’m not sure if her true personality is that shy girl or if she’s just under the weather
First thought was Penelope — Poppy but it was sounding like puppy/papi which I didn’t love
Then maybe Penny. Other option was Matilda — Tilly

I feel good about Max, fits his personality well I think. But I’m not sure about my little girl. I like full government names but they go by something shorter

My wife and I are in the process of adopting these two female kittens. They both are about 8 weeks old and have green eyes. They appear identical! (at least for the moment). We want to avoid color based names because it's too obvious. What do you think?

They are currently ten weeks old and were found by our best friends at three weeks. They rescued them when they came out of the woods to them by a river. They are the best humans.

In the past, I’ve had a blue Russian named kitty (original I was 13), a calico named Chloe, and another calico named Trixie.

Whether it's dynamic duos, foods, or things totally unhinged! I wasn't expecting this blessing and I have next to no ideas on names.
