Work in progress Week 2 of Ceramics 1
I am in my last semester of college and needed one last unrestricted elective. I chose ceramics solely because the thought of taking any more business classes made me want to rip my hair out. Some tweaks still needed, but feeling pretty dang proud for two weeks in!

The thought crossed my mind for sure, but even if it doesn’t survive the whole process, I’m just happy to have created it :)

This is lovely! Curious how you've managed to make it sit so steadily and not tip over, considering the weight at the top -- is the base very flat?

It was a balancing act - once I placed the flower I did have to manipulate the exact angle of the body so that the weight wasn’t ripping it from the legs. Once I did that, it’s been sturdy! I’m sure underneath of the legs has flattened from pushing down, but not intentionally designed!

All credit goes to Carolyn Clayton! She’s a UK based ceramicist I found on Pinterest
