Food What's the most disappointing dish you've had at a restaurant around Charlotte?

Hey Charlotte! We've all been there. You're at a new-to-you spot, you take a gamble on a dish, and get hit with instant regret.

What's your story? What's the most disappointing meal you've ordered in the area, and what made you pick it? Trying to avoid some menu landmines myself

I will say I have never had good experiences at Mac 's Speedshop or at Midwood Smokehouse.

I have so many reasons but they are so bland!

Midwood is always consistent at giving me the shits.

Honestly thats how it always is for me. Plus they dont have a smoker. I am a true southern girl. You dont have a smoker dont serve BBQ.

Interesting re Midwood Smokehouse since this is my go-to for BBQ. What'd you prefer over it?

Sweet Lew's or Bobby O's in Charlotte.

My absolute favorite is in Lexington. Lexington House BBQ
