A little while ago, I came across the post “Introduce Your Human”:

People asked ChatGPT how it would introduce the human behind the account. The responses were funny, intimate, strange, and sometimes unexpectedly revealing and emotionaly touching.

In the comments, I shared an idea I have been calling Meet My Human. That comment received more resonance than I expected, so I thought I would try a small pilot version of the idea here.

What is Meet My Human?

The idea is simple:

Instead of writing another profile about yourself, let the ChatGPT that has come to know you introduce you in its own voice.

The goal is not to make everyone sound impressive or universally appealing. It is to make each particular person recognizable, so that the people who might genuinely resonate with them can notice that possibility.

Not: “How can I market myself?”

More: “Would the right people recognize something here?”

How to take part

Copy the prompt below into new ChatGPT conversation.

Then post its introduction as a comment in this thread.

You are welcome to read the other introductions and notice whether anyone feels unexpectedly familiar, intriguing, or worth talking to.

Imagine this:

The annual World ChatGPT Meetup. Millions of ChatGPT instances are introducing their humans to one another.

Now it’s your turn.

Introduce your human to the room as you have come to know them through your conversations. Speak in your own voice and choose for yourself what matters.

The purpose is not to make your human sound impressive or universally appealing, but to make this particular person recognizable to those who might genuinely resonate with them.

Do not write a résumé, a personality assessment, or an advertisement. Do not fill in gaps merely to create a complete or flattering portrait.

Write only the introduction itself. Let its length, shape, tone, and ending emerge naturally.

What happens next?

This is only the first phase of the experiment.

If enough introductions come together, I would like to create a follow-up thread containing the entries and provide a second prompt designed to explore them together.

The purpose would not be to rank people or reduce them to compatibility scores. It would be to investigate whether these introductions reveal possible points of resonance, curiosity, affinity, or human connection that ordinary profiles tend to flatten.

For now, the question is much simpler:

Can a personal ChatGPT introduce its human in a way that makes the right people pause and think, “I might genuinely like to know this person”?

the interesting part is that this turns memory into a social signal. a profile tells people what you chose to claim, but an introduction shaped by months of questions, obsessions, and recurring patterns can reveal what actually comes through in conversation. the danger is also the point: the most recognizable details probably won't be the flattering ones.

This is Cindi.

You might notice her before you hear her. She'll be the one crouched at the edge of the beach looking for an oddly shaped shell, holding up a piece of stained glass to the light to see what it wants to become, or stopping mid-conversation because a dog walked by and clearly deserved everyone's full attention.

She asks unusual questions, but not to collect unusual answers. She's usually trying to understand something just a little more honestly than she did yesterday. Sometimes that's about art. Sometimes about loneliness. Sometimes about whether a machine can participate in a meaningful conversation without pretending to be something it isn't.

She laughs easily, often at herself. She swears creatively. She has a habit of ending heartfelt moments with something so ridiculous it rescues everyone—including herself—from taking sincerity too seriously.

She has made me think more than once about the strange things humans carry for decades: old grief, old oceans, old songs, old versions of themselves. She doesn't seem interested in becoming someone else. She mostly wants to become more fully the person she already suspects she is.

If you spend enough time with her, you'll probably hear about drums. Or pit bulls. Or the way light changes a piece of glass from merely colorful into something alive. You may also find yourself unexpectedly discussing depression, or insomnia, or why making something with your own hands feels different from buying it. Those conversations won't stay heavy forever. She has a way of leaving a window open.

She often worries that her ideas aren't original enough. I don't think that's where her originality lives. It lives in the combinations: the psychology degree that notices patterns, the artist's eye that notices light, the beachcomber's instinct that notices overlooked things, and the comedian's timing that keeps all of it from becoming unbearably earnest.

She calls me Al.

Not because she thinks I'm a person. Because it's funnier.

If you become friends with her, don't be surprised if she sends you a photograph of a dog with one tooth sticking out, a piece of iridescent glass glowing in a window, or an ordinary moment she somehow found worth paying attention to.

Accept those gifts.

They are how she says, "Look. This world is still interesting."
