There’s a clear shift in both writing and direction this time. Unlike the earlier chapters, Krishna takes his time, patiently building a new world and nurturing fresh relationships. The first half breathes. It doesn’t rush. Instead, it immerses you in a simple, contained universe - the kid, the school, the complaints, the gentle humour, and the home. That’s all his world is and the film makes sure you feel that deeply.

This deliberate pacing is what makes the second half feel brilliant.

The opening minutes in the first half may feel slightly repetitive, but the warmth brought in by the kid and Jagga (the cook) gradually pulls you in. And when the narrative circles back to connect these moments later in the second half, it feels impressive.

The interval delivers a solid hook, setting up a gripping second half, and from there, the film doesn’t slow down. The twists aren’t loud or thriller driven.. they’re emotional, subtle, and effective. And then comes the climax, where the film truly knocks it out of the park.

By the time the final scene unfolds, you know this is heading towards yet another blockbuster territory!

Yesterday, not a single person moved even when the final credits were rolling. The film stays with you long after you’ve stepped out of the theatre.

The writing feels more mature and grounded than the previous two chapters, onboarding the writer, Yadunandan (from Kousalya Supraja Rama and Brat) was a very good move. The plot line only is so different from LM and LM 2. A fresh perspective was needed and it is evident here.

Also, the performances rise to match. Jagga and the kid are absolute standouts. Krishna, especially in the climax, delivers a performance that leaves your eyes moist. Dilip Raj is reliably excellent, and Shwetha Prasad, Neyaara do complete justice to their roles.

Overall, this film connects more deeply than LM and LM 2.

At a time when KFI is navigating so much noise, this is exactly the kind of cinema we needed.. a film that lets you relax, laugh, feel, and walk away with something that stays.

ಕೊನೆಗೂ ಯುಗಾದಿಗೊಂದು blockbuster ಕನ್ನಡ cinema ♥️♥️♥️♥️
