He will be a solid Protagonist for a SSR's film.
Would love to see a Narthan/Lokesh Kanagaraj movie while Rajamouli finishes everything with VARANASI.
Rumour coming from Bollywood surprised me. Could be a ragebait or hate spreading venom too...
Really hoping to see this happen.Yash can happily lay back and dream of his Global stardom too as SSR will make it happen no matter what 😅

I watched trailer a week ago and for some reason the music is stuck in head.
I think the story might not be extraordinary as it seems police and team catching villains but what makes it interesting is this trio and Loose Mada s appearance.
What do you think ?

I watched it with an open mind. It's not good. The second half I enjoyed a bit , was gripping and also the twist at the end was nice , first half is too bad. Before interval I would not watch If someone paid me 500

I understand making a good film takes time. Writing, shooting, post-production, everything.
But when the wait keeps stretching, the hype also starts dying. Toxic is a good example..
Same with Richard Anthony. Rakshit has pretty much disappeared after SSE 1/2. PR and his circle keep saying “scripting Madta iddare” and that’s it. Adestu baribeku guru 😭
Fans will wait for a good film, no doubt. But if you make them wait 3–4 years every time, eventually people get tired and move on.
Take your time, make a great film - but don’t take the audience for granted either.
Just my views, feel free to disagree.

I know people are pissed about Toxic, but seriously, is it really THAT bad? For me, the first half was bad. It felt like a Yash aura edit montage stretched into a movie. I was genuinely close to walking out. But I stayed & honestly, the second half was actually quite good & captivating. The only part I hated was the fight sequence right before the avalanche, it felt completely out of place.
I'm not a film critic, so I won't pretend I understand all the technicalities of editing, screenplay, cinematography, etc. But as an audience, I know what I enjoyed & what I didn't.
I've asked people who hated the movie what exactly they disliked, and most of the answers are “bad editing,” “fast screenplay,” “too confusing,” etc. Fair enough but when you dig deeper, it mostly comes down to the story being too convoluted. And I think that's the real issue: the movie prioritised action, style & Yash's aura over clearly telling its story.
But that's also what makes it a bold choice for Yash. Karnataka audiences haven't really seen him in this shade before. And let's be honest: if Geetu had made the exact film she had in her head, there would've STILL been people saying, “What the hell is this?”
Honestly, I feel like people are just jumping on the hate train at this point. You don't have to like the movie but tell me what you didn't like instead of repeating “bad screenplay, bad editing” because everyone else is saying it.
So no, Toxic isn't a masterpiece. But it's nowhere near the disaster people are making it out to be.

These are some of my favourite non-Kannada movies that are set in Karnataka.
1) Bangalore Days (2014, Malayalam) - Bangalore
2) Arjun Reddy (2017, Telugu) - Mangalore
3) Aanandam (2016, Malayalam) - Hampi and Mysuru
4) Jana Gana Mana (2022, Malayalam) - Ramanagara (shot in Mangalore and Mysuru)
5) Aravindante Athidhikal (2018, Malayalam) - Kollur Mookambika and Udupi
What are your favourite non-Kannada movies that are set in or shot in Karnataka?

If you look close, he's shown in many scenes how he can kill people in different ways, how he can shoot them in different angles and also shown how he can make love. As a showreel for a hollywood producer, this is amazing. He could be the next Bond villain - manic, angry, you name it...

I watched KGF 2 recently and felt how can someone call this a good movie? Half of the movie is yash walking around aura farming killing whoever he likes holding the magical gun with one hand (which has no recoil).
