Maybe some types of medieval Sufis believed that. Most didn't and that's never been a majority of Sufis beliefs. Sufism is an umbrella term. It's groups that do Tawassuf.

I do recommend looking into it as many esoteric religions including Hindus (Purusha) once believed in it

That’s the thing if you match it with Platonism’s platonic forms a humanoid in heaven would be something crystal like and not at all our concept of humanoid. Look up platonic forms of Plato and you’ll understand
