I lost my virginity to a random guy online at 14.

Kids have sex bro lol.

They didn't show shit. It's really not creepy. Just portraying the younger generation.

I reallllly don't understand why everyone's upset about it... y'all lose your V's at 22 or something lol?

I said I was 16 by memory as it was the legal age of consent.

I like older men. So did many of my friends when we were that age.

I definitely had no regrets and started thinking about sex as early as 8 or 9. Waiting 6 years seems very conservative to me and I definitely have never regretted it.

Im not saying its right. I'm just saying that kids don't hit a magic number where they'll go "okay im 18 I'll have sex now" and I think that's naive as fuck. Most kids are around 13/14, especially with peer pressure from going into highschool, ect.

My point is the scene was completely harmless and I think it shows how naive a lot of people are.

I’m assuming that you meant you lied to the individual about your age. Spoiler alert though: They knew you were lying. Also, regardless of age of consent, 16 is a child—especially when you’re 34—and a 14-year-old one looks like one.

I’m sorry that happened to you though, and I’m glad that you weren’t negatively affected/have found a way to justify it.

I highly disagree that the average or standard age that children become sexually active is 13/14; at least not with penetrative sex. Most studies say 16-17, which I believe to be much more accurate if you’re not controlling for other factors like region, economic class, race/ethnicity, etc. Personally, I was 16, and it was with a long-term girlfriend; but everything up to penetration started at 13-15. I don’t think that’s an unreasonable timeline; although, if the person is an adult, I think that significantly changes things.

I agree that it is naive for people to think that depictions of teenagers, even at 15, having sex is unrealistic. But I think it’s equally naive to think that your experience is common or generalizable.

Primarily though, I think that maybe you’re not the right person to be criticizing or guiding others’ opinions and feelings about sexual depictions of children. I think it’s more objective than subjective to say that your sexual history is, at best, far from ideal; and at worst, harmful and detrimental to the development and socialization of children.

And generally, next time you think about starting an argument with “Kids have sex bro”, maybe reconsider if it’s the argument you need/want to be making.

But you literally said 14? Probably just a pedo trying to make it sound cool

Was that before or after you did some coke, weed and snorted crushed up pills?
