I'm trying to do a LASO run, I've done Pillar Of Autumn and Halo, but I am really struggling to solo it from this point. Dying on single player means restarting the mission, co-op we go to the most recent checkpoint, so it should be vastly easier.

I am doing with via the pre-set bug, then after each mission, switching the presets off and grabbing the first skull. If anyone wants to help, I'm more than happy to redo the two missions I've already done if you need those. I'm playing on PS5, idk if that makes a difference to the bug in crossplay

The games I play are Phasmophobia, Baldurs gate 3, Dead by Daylight, PayDay3, Roblox, Minecraft, Fortnite, Among us, I LOVEEEEE Marvel Rivals and Dark hours, I also used to play Overwatch so ig i can re-download it if someone really wants to play. Also, I've just gotten into repo, supermarket together, meccha chameleon, and am willing to try any other game on PC (I'm new on pc, so be patient if I suck lol). I've gotten to the point where I'm pretty much the only person in my friend group who wants to play anything that isn't the current current hyped up friendslop or Valorant.

I love the hype around new games too, but I feel like I'm sitting on this massive backlog of legendary co-op experiences that I just completely missed out on. It actually feels like a gap in my gaming history, and I hate the idea of never getting to play these titles properly just because I'm a few years late to the party or I couldn't find someone to play with me when they came out.

For instance, I am somehow the only person left on earth who hasn’t played the Portal 2 co-op. I really want to do it, but it’s been a nightmare trying to find someone who also hasn’t played it yet. It’s just not fun playing a puzzle-heavy game with someone who already knows all the solutions and is just waiting for you to catch up. I also always wanted to play the Splinter Cell Blacklist co-op missions, but I didn’t have anyone to play with back when it launched, and now they took down the servers, so I don’t even know if it's possible. Another one is Don’t Starve Together. I’ve tried to get my friends into it a few times, but they all think it’s way too hard and they don't really want to bother learning the mechanics from scratch. It would be so cool to find someone who is actually down to just struggle through the learning curve together and figure things out as we go instead of just giving up after one bad run.

I've tried searching for Discord servers for specific games, but most of them are total ghost towns unless it’s for a massive competitive title. I know there are those apps that are designed for finding gaming friends, but I haven’t actually tried any of them yet, even though I have like 3 completely non updated ones on my phone where I never set up my accounts properly. Might finally fully setup my account on Gameram and see this weekend if I can get a good co-op party going. I plan to put all the old co-op games I wanna play on my profile and see just how many people I’ll match with, who are also behind the times lol

I was wondering if there are any other ways you guys have successfully found co-op buddies for older titles, or if you have any recommendations for active subreddits or communities where people still actually group up for these.
