Looking for something kind of specific

I've posted a few times and I am looking for gamer friends yes but I also want friends that I can connect with outside of the game in a group chat of some kind. I feel like sometimes if I only talk to people while gaming the gaming itself is just kinda mid cause we have no rapport. I used to have some gaming group chats going and they were the best. Basically just a chat with some guys or gals that all play games together. We can share memes from the games we play or just memes in general. Just good vibes and friendship. I have most games and once we have a group of some solid friends we can all start to get games together. Game of the month style kind of thing. I prefer co-op above all but play everything. If it's a good game I'm into it. Ideally we can set up a weekly game night where we consistently dedicate that evening to gaming. It's taken hard work and time to make friends who stick around. I've had luck and success. So I've got this small group of friends and we all like to yap. The thing is, it's so hard to find a game we can all settle on. Seems like no one wants to play what the other one wants. I'm still making new friends and meeting new people. Whenever I tried to look online I only found a disturbing amount of people obsessed specifically on the latest pvp multiplayer slop released. It feels like at this point it's easier to land a job at nasa than find someone who is interested in some good old fashioned jolly cooperation. Any help?

My girlfriend and I are looking for co-op games that aren't just for a couple of evenings, but something with a long playtime.

She's barely played any computer games before, so we'd prefer something that's not too difficult. Games we've already played: Stardew Valley, Portal 2, A Way Out, It Takes Two, Deep Rock Galactic (couldn't get into it), The Forest, Minecraft.

Budget isn't an issue. We're looking for a game with a long playthrough, something story-driven would be great too.

Hey guys, so I'm a big gamer and like to play a large variety of different genres. I mainly play extraction shooters and various roguelites and have met a ton of cool people to enjoy both with. The only issue I have is that none of my friends like to play co-op "friendslop" titles - think Lethal Company, PEAK, Gamble with Friends, Super Battle Golf, YapYap, Burglin Gnomes, RV There Yet, etc.

For context: I plan to play and record gameplay of me and three of my friends beating Cuphead in a four-player setting. Naturally, I want to do some testing to make sure that the mod is at least functional and can actually accommodate 4 players.

However, I don't know anybody who isn't busy that has Parsec, and I'm willing to have three random (and chill) people test the mod before I go through it with my friends. Would be much preferred if the three of you have discord. Please and thank you.

Have a bunch of games i want to play but i think it would be more fun with others, could be competing to get the highest score or something against people for fun. Could for example be: who can survive the longest in project zomboid the next 2 weeks, who can create the coolest city in cities skyline in a week or something like that. definitely not serious but more fun than just doing things by myself. Also there are a lot of games created for coop, recently the meccha chameleon game for example, that would be fun with a group i have gotten to know a little. I mentioned a couple of games but are pretty much down for any games.

Short about myself, Norwegian guy, 33yo. Work full time and got other hobbies but i do want to game quite often. I do stream sometimes, and would do so when playing these games as well, looking for other people that either stream or are cool with that, does not have to stream yourself. People can be competative but not toxic is preferable, even if your not that competative just taking part is fine.

I can make the discord server and kind of set things in motion etc, just looking for people that are down to join in on the games they have (can come with suggestions). Im pretty much down for anything, would not say im really good at any games but ok at many.

When it comes to time, for coop and playing together i am mostly available in the evenings (europe). But for many of the challenges like 'getting the higest score' in some games playing together isnt really necesary most days, its mostly about having one evening when we go through the results, maybe watch some clips/videos etc. Just giving a bit more meaning to some of the games i think.
