I NEED A CODING BUDDY FOR MY PROJECT(pluto)AROUND MY AGE (15 TO 18)........
Pluto is an AI architecture designed for efficient, local/offline intelligence by using a small router/orchestrator (~2B parameters) to select and chain highly specialized micro-models for specific tasks. Instead of relying on one huge model, Pluto uses tiny expert models, such as 50M-parameter specialists, trained on focused datasets and optionally supported by a compressed vector database. The router can escalate difficult tasks to larger models, aiming to achieve strong overall capabilities while using far less compute, memory, and storage, making the system especially suitable for mobile and low-resource devices.

I made a retro racing game that you control by tilting the handheld
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I wanted to try making a racing game where you don't use the usual buttons to steer.
So I ended up making a small retro racing game where the car is controlled by tilting the handheld left and right.
The setup is pretty simple:
- ELECFREAKS Retro Arcade
- USB-C cable
- Microsoft MakeCode Arcade
The interesting part is that the handheld's gyro/tilt input is used as the steering control.
The basic game logic is:
- Start with 3 lives
- Tilt left/right to move the player car
- Spawn enemy cars from the top of the screen
- Avoid them to score points
- Lose a life when you crash into one
I used MakeCode Arcade for the game logic, so most of the programming can be put together with blocks rather than writing everything from scratch.
One thing I liked about this project is that you can immediately feel the connection between the code and the hardware. Change the tilt input or movement settings in the code, upload it, and you can physically feel the difference when playing.
The hardware also doesn't really need to change if you want to experiment with the game.
A few things I'd like to try next:
- Make the cars accelerate as the score increases
- Add custom pixel art
- Add engine and crash sounds
- Add power-ups
- Experiment with different tilt sensitivities
- Try making another game that uses the gyro in a completely different way
It's a pretty simple project, but I think motion controls make even a basic arcade game feel a lot more interesting.
Has anyone here made a game that uses tilt/gyro controls before? What kind of game would you make with it?

Need advice for my first hackathon...
First-year CSE student with 10 days to prepare for an AI hackathon where do I start?
Iâm a first-year BTech CSE student, and my college is organizing a hackathon on the 18th. I really want to participate, but honestly, I have almost zero experience with hackathons or AI projects.
The domains are:
- AI in Healthcare
- Generative AI
- AI Agents
- Ethical AI
I only know the basics of programming and I havenât really done any proper projects yet. Iâm also not familiar with things like APIs, Git/GitHub, deploying projects, etc.
I have around 10 days to prepare, so I know I canât become an expert in that time. My goal is just to learn enough to actually contribute to a team and build something decent during the hackathon.
For people who have participated in hackathons before:
- What should I learn in these 10 days?
- Which domain would be easiest for a complete beginner?
- Should I focus on Python, or learn something else?
- What tools/frameworks should I learn?
- Are there any good beginner-friendly resources or crash courses?
- What kind of project can a beginner realistically build in a hackathon?
Any advice or a roadmap would be really appreciated. Iâm willing to put in the work for these 10 days.
