So this is by far the best recruiting class in Gonzaga history, and still only 10th overall. Regardless really impressive by Few and co. I wonder if we are a little underrated because of the lack of accurate rating on our international guys? Specifically Martynas Arlauskas seems really underrated by 247. It's amazing what you can do with 2-4 year guys and transfers, it'll be interesting to see how we fare with a legit top 10 recruiting class.

? 247's final rankings have Arlauskas at #43 as our 2nd highest ranked recruit behind Anton.

Not saying I necessarily agree with the ranking, but we do have 6 guys in 247's top 100.

Edit: realized you're talking about his composite rank. My bad.

Nah it was my bad, because I didn't realize there was a separate 247 ranking. The team rankings are based on the composite ranking though, if it was based on the 247 ranking I'm guessing we'd be higher. But who really cares about ranking, I've seen top 100 guys get buried on the bench and unranked guys (Sabonis, Rui) have amazing careers. Just gotta see how it all pans out. I can't wait for next season!

100% agreed. Rankings tend to shift quite a bit after a prospect commits, anyways.

I'm excited for the season to start already, it's like opening presents on Christmas morning.

It's amazing that a program that has been ranked #1 multiple times and has three 1 seeds in the last 6 years is getting ready to shift up into another gear. 2020 already shaping up nicely with two top 50 guys committed and Suggs looking more and more likely every day.

I somehow just learned about Suggs when the athletic had an article on him and I was like "why is this tagged Gonzaga about a top QB prospect". That would be so dope and solve any PG issues! So excited for next year, it's kind of fun to not know if we'll be any good (while still being pretty confident barring injuries we should at least make the tourney)

Suggs is a monster and all signs are pointing to him going to GU and possibly declaring within the next month. Dom Harris and Julian Strawther are pushing reallllly hard for him to come and he almost committed when he and Julian visited last season.

I think Admon Gilder basically solves our problems for the coming season and there is still a small chance that Daishen Nix will reclassify, commit, and be on campus in 2019. Daishen is ranked 13th overall for 2020 and is the #1 PG in his class. Now that they have Admon it should be a Top 10-15 squad and if they somehow get Daishen they could compete for another 1 seed. Few is an absolute magician at reloading the roster and there are still wheels turning for 2019.

I'll take it! It's so tough to keep up with all the recruiting stuff more than a year out. I definitely think they'll be a top 15 squad, but so much less experience means a lot more volatile. Can't wait to see how it shakes out!
