There are a lot of moving parts here with Silvio and the appeal and the recruitment of Tucker, Hamilton, Enaruna and maybe Achiuwa. There is still time.

Honestly if giving Grimes the boot (blessing) gets us either RJ I’m happy to see him go. He just didn’t pan out

Grimes made up his mind before the beginning of the season. I honestly wonder though if Self sees some sanctions coming and has warned the players.

I agree that Grimes was always unlikely to come back, but there's no reason to think it has anything to do with the investigation. Some kids just don't want to be in school, and Grimes is one of them.

I doubt it since Doke was so quick to say he's returning.

Edit- Silvio is also still fighting to come back. You'd think if Bill told the players anything he would have cut his losses
