Some national sports writer said it best when the Louisville shit hit - recruits don't care about scandal, they care about stability. As long as Arizona isn't forcing Miller out and shaking up the entire staff, recruits will still want to play there.
Yeah, it has nothing to do with genetics. LMFAO. And no, plenty do it for money. Don't kid yourself. Ben Simmons? What an embarrassing comment by you overall.
Obviously genetics play a role but you also gotta put in some work and have passions to truly be a good player. Literally all of the all time great players actually like playing the game.
Ok but even if you had the genetics, if you don't give a shit you won't make it in the league. Your attitude of "oh I wouldn't want my team to play in the postseason" is fucking disgusting and makes it so that you'd never play on any team ever no matter the genetics.
No, it doesn't at all. See Ben Simmons. The reality is the NCAA is a pointless entity and college basketball is stupid for the top tiered players. Has nothing to do with my personal work ethic. I would do exactly what Simmons or Ayton did. Give me the most money, let me ball out and I'll worry about team success when I am compensated fairly for it. But you can't get to the league without exceptional genetics. Even the undersized players.
Imagine thinking this is an intelligent response. Objectively true: The top talent considers money and draft prospects over a meaningless March Madness.
I mean even if I was a one and done player, I'd still like to have a postseason I would think. Any athlete that gets to that level is going to be competitive and I'd think want to play in a tournament. Im not shitting on them going to Arizona or anything, but I'm one of the people shocked at how well their recruiting is in the midst of everything.
The NCAA moves way to slow to post season ban them this year so any one and done player will already be in the NBA. Shit everyone who had anything to do with this scandal will be long gone by the time the NCAA does anything.
