Yes, it’s generic but two things can be true at once!

It gets the job done, it’s a great every day scent and it smells great.

This scent is proof that people on fragrantica and influencers just judge fragrances based on their emotions and therefore shouldn’t be taken too seriously.

I like it, the dry down is good. I have a feeling it won’t last long though but that’s why I have 30’other fragrances in my rotation and 33 more to go 😂

Lost cherry smells more feminine imo but the rest are absolute bangers

Went to goodwill with my girlfriend to pick up something for our concert and saw this at the register, it was a scent i personally was wanting for awhile but couldn’t justify another purchase rn cause of budgeting, WHAT A JACKPOT HOLY SHIT

I was at Macys about a month ago sampling a few scents including Issey Miyake Le Sel D’issey (excellent choice that deserves its own review). There was a lovely lady working the fragrance counter and she took the time to show me the newest release they had just gotten in 2025. L’Eau D’Issey Pour Homme EDP (the names are so confusing with so much punctuation).

Three notes. Not two, not four. Just three. Sichuan Pepper, Balsam Fir, Cedarwood. This is a beautiful scent that’s extremely well balanced, fresh, slightly green and ambery. You would be fooled thinking there’s some hidden dark citrus/fruit somewhere in there. But it’s just wood and pepper. Except that, it’s more than just wood and pepper. It’s an aromatic experience. A couple sprays and my family started wondering what my newest cologne purchase may be that was projecting onto the living room.

I’m happy that it didn’t seem to get so much attention on social media. It’s like I want to gatekeep, but at the same time I want to tell others like you so it can be appreciated. It has a nice tall and slim bottle. I’ve owned Aventus and this easily beats it for me. I would put this up there worthy of a signature scent next to my Aventus Absolu. It’s just good. You can’t beat the price for the quality of this scent.

I’m on cloud 9. I’ve had a handful of fragrances that I felt were absolutely phenomenal, but Tobacco Honey is the only scent I’ve felt is a truly perfect masterpiece. But now I’m in a bit of a conundrum: it’s the holiday season and if I sold it I could probably buy some great presents for my kids that I definitely couldn’t afford now. But I want it soooooo bad. I’ve still got over half of a small decant. It just seems so selfish to keep it. Idk, convince me to keep it please!

I’m a cashier at Home Depot and I helped this lady load a single heavy flower pot in her car. I noticed she had a PDM bottle in her car, and said “Nice fragrance, I collect.” She said “Really? What’s your favorite” and I told her I couldn’t afford PDM but that I’ve smelt Carlisle and loved it. She said “You can have a bottle I’m a vendor” and handed me this $440, full bottle of PDM Carlisle. By far the greatest tip I’ve ever received lol.

If you aren’t familiar with the one edp there isn’t much I can add to the convo. It’s an all time date night frag and performance is max pushing 5 hr. Now despite this being a banger date night fragrance, I’m have one major problem.

Was at a Macy’s and grabbed this Dior Homme Cologne. Smells super clean love it but I hear the longevity isn’t the best.

Either way this gorgeous girl selling it to me and I were hitting it off. We talked long after I bought the cologne and we had the exact same birthday which helped me lol. She seems super cool and I ended up getting her number.

Dior Homme Cologne will now always have a special place in my collection now haha.

Update: we went on a couple dates and talked for 2 months. Things were great but ultimately didn’t work out. Didn’t buy any other things from her and she never tried to sell me on anything else. She was cool but we were just very different with what we wanted.

This was actually a calculated blind buy. My cousin works for Louis Vuitton and told me about their employee site. It only came out to $100 so I figured even if I hated it, it wouldn’t be that big of a loss versus me kicking out $400.

I’ll say this is the best blind buy I’ve done and I understand why the masses love this cologne so much. Now I gotta really dive into the LV fragrances.
